When I was a kid my grandfather used to make me a bamboo water gun to avoid plastics, although I always ended up getting a fancy one from market after my friend showed me theirs . And Holi is real fun if you involve , just watching won't give you the same feel. All the water color and different stuff in typical Holi. And yes , no Holi without Mal-pua and Gujhiya. Do visit India during holi , specially northern regions and witness the real one. I am sure you are going to love it.

just an accent advice Jaby, When you say the hindi word "hai" You pronounce it like "Hey" You gotta pronounce it like "Haey" as in "Hamleys" "Hamburgur" . you may wanna emphasise more on the "Aaaaeee" part. Good Luck. Lots of Love Brother.

Nowdays Many people prefer dry Holi becuase of water shortage issues across some parts of India. But when I was small Holi meant Playing with water, but it is changing. We used to apply oil all over our body before we went to play so that the colours come of easily.

Hey Jaby and Achara you people are awesome as always. Wanted to just inform that people hair in India spends much more on Deewali than Holi. Holi colours are not that expensive and these things are available at cheap prices.People you colours more than these sprays ,these are for more of entertainment of kids.
