@@olivierlanguedoc Even standard drone insurance of $1-2 million would probably have been adequate. Scary as all heck watching it fly so close to those cars.

Isn't that the point? I haven't seen an Avata in person yet but it looks like DJI and Nerf got together on it's design. I don't care how good of a pilot you are, the chances of doing that in one take without hitting anything is very low...

*Nothing* surprising. Initially, everything was filmed at low speed, almost snail's speed. Then dreams are accelerated and glued together and the acceleration is not always aligned throughout the video. Also, the drone is made almost entirely of plastic of very high quality, since it could not scratch these cars in any way. Our colleagues, videographers from Europe, also shot similar shots much cooler and more dangerous in a restaurant where there is crystal, and expensive wine, and so on ... One can only applaud the creator of this museum, the creator of beautiful cars!

that's the part that got me! i have an Avata and if you get that slow going slow, it will try to land, so he must have been RUNNING!

Yeah that was pretty insane at least probably not much damage to be done under there. Most will never be able to fly 5% this good.

Thats what I was thinking, and the insurance they must have had to get. Plus, who's the pilot? I'm sure they wouldn't trust any ol joe blow to fly around those extremely expensive cars.

@@TomAnsuini Who said he was wearing a headset? And likely he was just walking behind it, not running. Just as amazing is the editing done to speed up the video at times to give us a thrill - and get it down to 2 minutes.

Editing. Where the 'pilot' would have flown slowly, the editor increased the frame rate of the final play back to match the quicker flying moments.

​@@AndreColpaert you basically can't fly it unless you connect your smartphone to googles using wire. After the it will allowed to fly, but only if place doesn't cover by special map, so all large cities, inside house s are out of question. You can to file request to unlock it to fly in selected zone, and if you don't want to send your docs/licenses to them - you can get permission to your drone to fly with just phone number, but it's good for only 2 days. Just don't get all this inconvenience, get any other cinewhoop that just flies.
