Yes the sets are just from regular gear drops and mother boxes. Completely random unfortunately.

This is an odd one, because it is kind of decent in that it lets you use trait instead of meter for your combos (and can combo from his fastest standing string), so you can save meter for block strings with manta rays. But yeah, it's less of a total game changer and more of a slight modification.

I can't remember off-hand (and can't check right now) but usually I'd put combos at 30, then either rushdown or grappling at 20 and finally the last 10 in rushdown/grappling (opposite of previous choice) or in counters. It helps to observe them and check if they're actually doing combos or just a bunch of single hits - if they're not combing properly, best to put more in grappling and counters and less in rushdown. Honestly though, really high gear stats help a lot to get through that, since the "battle simulator" towers never let the AI use epic gear, so their stats usually aren't great.

Comfort. I'm bad enough as is, I fumble quite a bit with a controller, at least playing fighting games. Also I used to have only a webcam mic, with my new one the keyboard doesn't come out quite so loud, at least not so loud as to worry about it coming out stronger than the game audio.

I don't remember what it's called, but I can tell you that I got it randomly. Either awarded from a multiverse event or out of a Mother Box, random drops are how you get gear in the game.

"Settling the Score" is the name of the level 20 boss fight in the legendary multiverse for Manta... so do you mean how to finish the challenges on that event or do you just mean how to beat the boss? Because to beat the boss I would just suggest making sure you have really good gear stats so you have an advantage, although you can get your AI fighter loadouts to tackle the boss for you, I think. But if you mean the challenges to unlock that event then they should be self-explanatory: win matches, open boxes. The gear sacrifice opens up when you select the event if you haven't already completed the gear sacrifice already.
