I agree!!! The occasional stutters annoy me though but easily overlooked due to the awesome immersion. 👍

@@eddiehidalgo7739 honestly, I use a meta Quest, and use steam Vr to run it, and I’m happy but there are plenty of other options. I’m honestly not the guy to ask but there’s plenty of videos about that subject

I'm running a quest 2 with a GeForce rtx 4070 with everything set to ultra and I gotta say, I was blown away by the level of immersion it offers. I knew it was gonna be good, but, I never imagined it being THAT good. I'd refer anyone, if you want a great combo for vr, the ibuypower y40 is a winner. It's gonna cost you but it's worth every penny. I'm in for a little over $2500 and If I had to do it all over again, I'd spend it again.

⁠it’s not there yet imo. Dropped frames and stuttering can make you feel physically ill. For hours. Also, even if you manage to get a somewhat consistent signal and frame rate, the fidelity has to be reduced so much that’s very similar to n64 graphics. The immersion is awesome but it’s not mature and won’t be for years if ever as rendering engines get more realistic and hardware try’s to keep up.

I love Flight Sim, only play it on the Xbox but would love to experience it in VR. I can imagine how good it must be. Even Ace Combat on PSVR (1) blew my mind, and that was only 3 missions or free flight with no take off or landing control.

It is the only way I will fly VFR or mil aircraft. IFR only need to look out the front on one screen… no runway, go missed.

It’s that twiddly twirling of the controls on approach that I still don’t get. I’m quite staid and laid back on long or short finals, so I suppose someone is doing something wrong.

Wish I could use VR, but I get violently ill. I’ve tried all the tricks in the book to acclimatize; my brain just cannot handle it. Have to resort to TrackIR.

Heavily depends on the vr too. Im using pico4 pro now. Soooo smooth, no more sickness . Just sweat because i can jse it for hours now
