Thank you Andrew, I guess Ryan was your trainer? We love PNG. We worked with SIL back in the 70’s and later with APCM ( now Pioneers) in Port Moresby and at Kawito in the lower fly. What a country, what wonderful people who are asking for solid teaching. God bless you and your family…..regard's Roger We are now retired and live in Victoria Australia

Thanks…. I can’t do a lot of filming in flight until I get a little further along but look forward to sharing more about what is going on around PNG!

I would love to see after flight summaries of your challenging fields. Show us the ones that have challenged you: non-level surfaces, the muddy ones, the ones with optical illusions where the runway looks longer than it really is, difficult approaches. You could also show us more of Goroka or Port Moresby or some of your favorite villages. Ryan brought back some Goroka Blue coffee. What other ones have you tried?

Hey Andrew, I just subscribed.. Been following Ryan for awhile now. If I am not mistaken, you flew with him a time or two before he left on furlough. I will definitely be praying about the need for more people to fill the needs there in PNG. God bless and keep you and your family. I have already been praying for the safety of the pilots over there. In Christ, Mike

Andrew, great to hear that you are progressing well in PNG. Keep up the hard work. I really love to hear the enthusiasm you have as a missionary and bush flying. I always watch Ryan's videos and really enjoy his experiences also. I'm a MK from PNG through New Tribes from 1983 to 1987, and lived at Numonohi. We flew out to the Gimi several times, and I later worked at the old NTM hangar as a teenager. Thanks Andrew, keep the updates coming.

Andrew, I have been watching Ryan for a couple years now. I hope you can continue to show us the new approaches you've learned with strips like Munbil and Mamusi. I really enjoy the technical details. I also like seeing your family grow and adapt. I like the kids seeing the airplanes come in. It reminds me of the days that my friends and I used to ride our bikes to the airport and watch jet fighters take off and land.

I'm very impressed with your total enthusiasm Andrew and the work that you do. But from the age of 12 years and a Choir boy in the Church of England, I became a life long Atheist and from my point of view, there is no God. Having said that, I do also appreciate that our fellow human beings often need help to live their lives, and for that reason, I have the utmost respect for the work that you and other mission pilots do in these remote parts of the world. So my question is, if you are short of personnel, including pilots, why does it have to be an absolute necessity to have a belief in God before an experiened pilot is allowed to take part? What is the prioity here, to believe in God, or to provide the human expertise to enable the aircraft to fly to these difficult to access parts of the world and improve the lives of the people that live there?

The Lord has provided a helicopter. Bit of a slap in the face to the engineers and science behind its development? It's a bit like prayers for someone whos sick. Stop the medical treatment and let the prayers do their thing? Be safe, PNG is no playground!
@robertstellan6017
@robertstellan6017 Жыл бұрын
By saying "the Lord provided" doesn't mean stop the treatment for the sick, or the helicopter comes from nowhere. It is basically saying that in the midst of ALL the complexities of the process + the complexities of life. I.E.- rather that be the intelligence of the people who has invented or studied the material + the efforts for funding or even simply the weather being in the right condition, that the Lord in all His infinite wisdom provided a way to connect all of the intricacies of the WHOLE plan for them provide a way to share the Gospel and to love people better. He should absolutely receive the credit. Hope this helps to understand the phrase a little better.
