Went today - amazing until they cancelled it soon after 4pm due to the weather. Prematurely in my opinion, the squall passed and the weather brightened so only got up to 2/3rds of the display - gutted.

I don't know the reason for the move but I think taking Legends away from Duxford was a mistake. Church Fenton may have been an active RAF station in the past but it doesn't have the same kind of history as Duxford. I think visitor numbers will take a big knock because of the move. One of the reasons being that Duxford has a tendency to be one big living museum.

@@nickgrey4136 the Romance of Visiting such a beautifully restored WW2 airfield with all the period Hangars, being able to see the progress on all the restorations, the location in the middle of the country for convenience. What a shame. Flying Legends is gone for me if it’s not at its Duxford HOME.

@@thecircusfreak5364 agreed. when it was at Duxford i could only go once every few years, now its a short drive from where i live its going to be every year now :)
