My work in psychology www.narcissistic-abuse.com/me...
In 1995, I was the FIRST person to OUT himself as a narcissist. I am NARCISSIST ZERO (like "patient zero").
To be able to communicate my experiences, I has to coin a whole new corpus of language, still widely in use today.
"No, you did not! My grandma used no contact!" No, she didn’t: no contact is a set of 27 strategies.
If creators - authors, artists - are not credited, there is no incentive to create.
Listen to this short interview excerpt to the end.

I crossed paths with my first pathological level narcissist (a boss) in 1997; basically just as the internet was really getting off the ground. I had a close friend who was a psychologist at that time and we started doing a deep dive into this guy’s extremely warped personality. I can remember at a certain point (when I was at the height of my confused and discombobulated state) saying to her (the psychologist) “he has all of them” .. meaning: pretty much every mental illness we could find. Not sure the idea of a “personality disorder” had yet crossed either of our minds (or even if those were a “thing” commonly known or talked about yet) .. but at some point I did stumble on to Sam Vaknin’s work and it was the first thing that started to make the whole situation I was in make sense to me. And at that time, yes I can tell you for a fact he was the ONLY person really talking about this or with the framework for this level of understanding. I have come back to this space the last few years due to another close call with another narcissist and there is SO much more information available now but I think I could say with certainty Vaknin was absolutely the pioneer here. Or the person who was first able to really put this whole phenomenon into understandable language.

I'm 60 years old and it is only Vaknin and Grannon that have helped me. Now I am still really messed up but I know why, exactly haha. It helps. So much. Because now I take responsibility for my own actions, and do not blame the narcissist that I grew up with and stayed with 60 years, I feel pity and empathy. I must yet learn how to stop ruminating and what not but the way these help are beyond measure. If I could I make every human on the planet watch them. I am, because of my abuse and lack of executive dysfunction etc, living in public housing. Roaches crawl on my feet at night. There are horrors galore. But they are MY horrors. This is the life where no one tells me I am wrong about everything. The people here are bent out of shape like me and I go around loving them not hating them, and they heal me with their smiles. This is what Vaknin has done for me. I tell my Flying Monkey brother "I have found good therapy through this world reknown professor on KZfaq" and he says "Don't believe everything you see on KZfaq" ok bro good talk

Professor your insights are so incredibly unique! In spite of the fact that so many people talk about narcissism, no one gets it like you and can transfer this knowledge into a comprehensive language. I live with a vulnerable narcissist for more than two decades. Every lecture of yours resonates to 100 percent. Every move, every psychodynamic, every process you describe about claster b pathologies is the truth and the result of gigantic knowledge and intelligence. I think it's very very difficult to become the gratification for your work, because they all envie you. You explained to us, that they would rather destroy you and steal from you because of malignant envie, to give you gratification and acknowledge your work.

The intellectual theft that you describe is rapant in universities. Individual researchers often have to sign away all their work to the universities they work for. Even when they patent ideas after leaving their old university can go after them legally if they claim the patent was inspired by something they saw wh I le working there. 😢

I've been subscribed to you since I was able to. Raised by cluster B's, I watch your videos with one eye on the narcissists in my life and one eye on myself. A (wealthy, I diagnose her and her husband as narcissists) artist claimed she had been awarded inclusion in an exhibition at Art Basel where I had been the one chosen, even so far as to somehow have the website changed. When I discovered it I had it corrected by the curator and put a link to the site on my own website. The art world is rife with this shizz. I'm told by a scientist friend taking credit for another's achievements is a way of life in academia. I don't see it changing. I've learned to get my joy in the studio because what happens after is largely out of my hands. I meditate daily, which helps with perspective. Thanks for the opportunity to vent.

Sam, since about 10 years you are one of the most important people in my life. I never write comments, but everyone knows that you are the King and the more you stay calm and own it with humour, like you did in the past too, the more the truth will just stand for itself. If I would have not found your videos back in the days, I would have been probably either dead, because of predators, or at another place now. I became a "pretty great" man, who achieved a lot, and I always, every week, had your videos in my back, and leading my way to come where I am now. I had many mentors, but you are one of the most important ones, and by frequency, even the most consulted one for me. And the most important one for understanding 99% of the population nowadays. Your work has toughened me up and many people who comment here think the same. You are a true blessing, and I noticed that you were the only one who stepped up and even put himself first, with this very delicate and for some people difficult to accept topic. The King always smiles and just owns it Sam. You are the King and everyone knows this

All the best to you Sam and god bless you

You have to make a psychological chain into the heads of people, and your enemies, that triggers one feeling (positive towards you) and another feeling (intimidating towards the enemy), YET it solves a problem and people can use it in their everyday lives (which is why they will love you - because you make theory applicable), - and when you have this "chain" into the subconscious, of both parties, you blast voltage through it, in different ways, triggering funny things in people. Many more ways as well 🙂

Best of luck being recognized for your excellent work Professor Vacnin. It appears certian individuals with specific personality disorders garvitate ( or perhaps develop or advance their disorder) to professions where the disorder is socially acceptable. In the orchestra I was a chellist in, narcicism was the norm. So much so that my tutors encouraged me to exhibit the attitude. It was expected of me as first chellist and exquisitly demonstrated by the first violinist. On line psycholological professionals are probably simlierly self selected amoung the ranks of those who exhibit pathaloghc cheracteristics they wish to understand. As such they don’t give a damn about reality or history. Good luck trying though. I have found good character is not particularly recognized or rewarded particularly short term. I supppose that last is inappropriate coming from me. I made a small fortune managing various properties for my wife’s family for twenty years. Renters and lessee’s were often initially suspicious of me. They expected me to be slow and neglectful. It took some time ( and a few crises) for them to discover I was right there with them. Floods, homeless sleeping in doorways, cantankerous neighbors I was in the middle of it. Helping contractors mop up, asking the homeless to move along and not block the driveways and entry doors, and right in the face of newly graduated orthadontists from Harvard with no expierience running his own business. Satisfaction from bullying is immediate, rewards being a good person are more internal and log term. Perhaps only recognized by a small group of interested associates and clients.

Bless you for your illumination of the truth about narcissistic disorder. And bless you for your being for the first "patient". Thank you for sticking up for the necessary need for the world wide historical acknowledgement of an "artistic creator". And thank you for your speaking about a person absolutely needing to receive official "professional credit" for their artistic & intellectual creations! Me -- had to fight with a completely ignorant idiot for a t-shirt design & a business card design. And he managed to alienate his assistant who sewed thousands of things excellently!!! And then he tried to not pay her- & she was the "diamond" level skill there/she was a "jewel" of "a maker" in his business as well, and he did this in front of witnesses! Me and the whole neighborhood, and also others with their artistic excellence/ knowledge/ high level social skills- we were all fuming mad! Me finally got the two copyrighted designs back. He forgot that he was within distance of 3/4 of a mile from authority, as well as an open "court". Thank you!

You are one step to the total resolution, here is the final answer : Nobody will ever know the name of the first discoverer or inventor of the wheel, but his or her discovering still benefits humanity today, and will continue to do so to anything that could replace us in the far future on a world scale. Nobody can pretend inventing it, or knowing who invented it, and so cannot criticise or reject the idea because of the author, it is a godlike status for the individual that achieved this (or a group even). Your work is done because it lives beyond your physical being, in the culture. Nothing more can be achieved and you can enjoy seeing the entire world of ideas now marked with your concepts. Being forgotten after bringing something incredibly good and powerfull to so many people is the final stage. You just have to accept to do the step. You can now become complete, rest and try something new. I would imagine that it is fairly rare that someone can enjoy this status during their lifetime, and that it is possible that some can do this multiple times in their life, but that, no one will ever know ! 😉

Wow!!! What you say is what I observe in my life! I am an absolutely honest person! All my life I have been protecting those in need of protection. I have never offended anyone, and even more so, I cannot offend a child and or woman.I was raised by the best woman in the world, by my mother, who instilled in me a real moral code. I am even afraid to remain silent if someone in my presence commits injustice against another person - so as not to be on the side of Evil with my silence! There is nothing neutral between Good and Evil in my moral code! And it turns out that's exactly what I offended her! That's what I thought and said, that the other person would either beat you or commit suicide. But I can't do either. And she answered me that she knows this and therefore is not afraid of me! And about her mother - everything is one to one! The convert narcissist told me that I should compensate her for everything that she did not receive from her mother! I am a Ukrainian Israeli who came to live in Canada with only one purpose - to raise my daughter in happiness and joy (20 years ago in Israel I was arrested and they tried to take my child from me to give her up for adoption. I went through criminal courts and left Israeli Supreme Court without charges). Then I was looking for my other half to raise our children together and I fell into the trap of a covert narcissist who promised me to be my second half and later she bought me (with my money) a ticket and then came here in Canada with her son. We had two sons here in Winnipeg. Now they are 8 and 12 years old. My story is something incredible. The year before last, I turned to the mental crisis center for help, but they shifted the responsibility to me, instructing me to convince our rapist to seek help from their crisis center herself. And it was a fatal moment from which everything became much worse!!! Incredible domestic abuser made "friendly" relationship with social services and they, with the help of the police on completely absurd and false allegations, fabricated reality and arrested me for about one hour and at midnight on January 10, 2023 put me on the street without the right to return home and made me homeless person, standing in the cold in a terrible frost in light clothes, without gloves and any personal belongings in front of the door of the police station in Winnipeg North And... She wrote to me later that I must die alone... Since then I have lost the opportunity to be with my children, I was labeled as a rapist in Winnipeg Police, my children who truly love me were forced to say that they do not want to communicate with me... On April 3, 2023 I proved in court that I am a victim of domestic violence and stalking and was granted to me a Protection Order. But after that Winnipeg Child and Family Services with my former family doctor tried to cancel my protection order and fabricate opposite against me! But court dismissed it. The Winnipeg police arrested me two more times on trumped-up absurd charges when in reality it was violation s of my Protection Order... Violations continuing and last week, the social terrorists from Winnipeg police threats me about my new arrest! This is an incredible story of abuse of a man and a father by an intimate partner and the Winnipeg police under the auspices of the so-called Winnipeg child and family service! I declare that this society is in danger on the way to its self-destruction!!! Because an undeclared social terrorist war is being waged against all of us! My shame, in which I lived and suffered all these last 13 Canadian years, after my illegal arrest, left from me along with the constant pain that was in my body all this years. And now my former shame has become disgrace and contempt to the Winnipeg police service who wage war against the sake of our children. This is a cry for help! But I am a strong person and I believe in Justice! I am not a recognized victim of a covert narcissist, but I do not agree to be a victim of this misanthropic system that does business on our pain and our grief! Help me make my story public to stop abusing my children and me and let us just live without violence! Please contact me to be my witnesses of Truth. Sincerely, Dmitry Bimbat Winnipeg, Canada

What if the Flying Monkeys include members of law enforcement, courts, etc.? Navie yet endowed with unique qualities and blind-spot for honeypot tactics made me made this one guy (better than anyone could possibly know) an easy mark for a network of narcissists that recruited, groomed, and deployed this chap as an unwitting flying monkey (the most effective in my opinion.) With the benefit of hindsight, the cultish cell of narcissists put him in grave danger under the guise of cosplay, revelry, and hedonism. Like the plot of "Tropical Thunder" their target thought was playing around but in reality, was in a real war. These Narcissists indeed were master manipulators and know just how to hit someone in their weakest spot. Their modus operandi compromised law enforcement, business owners and in general morally weak men so easily and at such embarrassing low prices, it's almost comical. Full blown narcissists have hierarchy of targets, tactics, and strategy. Cowards to the core, they prefer to hide behind "legitimate" systems of secrecy and violence which you cannot fight back, if you do will likely loose your life and/or freedom.
