I recently discovered these abandoned ship graveyard in Staten Island while watching Drone videos. I decided to take a trip out there and capture the beauty of these wrecked boats by myself. I used my DJI Mavic Pro set on 2.7k 30fps.

Dude I really need to explore Staten Island with you. Seems like there is SO many dope spots. Great drone footage too, beautiful ships/light. Keep up the good work - there just might be a spot for you back on #dronemans

yea dude footage turned out good. Don't worry about it, you'll build confidence over time. You can look into insurance. State Farm offers personal article policy and you can insure it through that. They covered my gimbal when I crashed mine few years ago. Also, that's a dope location!

Thanks man, coming from you this is a big compliment! I have State farm for insurance so I will check with them about the Drone. I have DJI Care till Jan 2018 too so I will get State Farm once thats over. Its a cool place for sure.

I think the light at that time of day was perfect. You could see the definitions of the ships in the water & if it was in brighter light, I don't think you would've captured it with as great of detail.

That was an amazing video for me. Staten Island at one time in my life was very significant, as a little kid we would visit family there but they have since past away, so I have not been there or thought of the area much in many years. You captured some really cool shots. Nice job.
