Today I am taking a Boeing 737 Classic with Canadian Airline, Air Inuit! Air Inuit has a diverse fleet of King Airs, Twin Otters, De Havilland Dash 8 Q100s and 300s, a few 737-200s, and a single 737-300. Canadian airlines generally operate older 737s to the remote villages in the Nunavut, Quebec, and Yukon territories as most of the year their isolated towns would only be accessible via plane. The 737 Combi is a Boeing 737 that can carry cargo containers as a freighter would, and passengers in a normal passenger cabin (a COMBInation of a cargo plane and a passenger plane). These are efficient as airlines are able to transport sufficient amounts of cargo and several passengers on the same flight. The 737 Classics is best to be sent up to isolated towns as it is more operationally flexible, cost efficient, and has better infrastructure compatibility.
Flights to these Canadian towns in this part of the world aren’t cheap from a passenger's perspective, so I didn’t fly with them all the way up to the village that this flight served. It had a stop in Quebec City both ways, so I just hopped on and off. All said and done, I paid 767.10 CAD (557.02 USD) roundtrip.
