Flying PENANG to LANGKAWI with AIRASIA // SHORTEST FLIGHT in Asia???

Жыл бұрынCome along as we experience the shortest flight in Malaysia! It took only 20mins to fly from Penang to Langkawi Island and cost a total of AUD$50 (150MYR) each, flying with AirAsia. Highly recommended flying as opposed to the 3-hour ferry (we had a not-so-great ferry experience on our last trip to Malaysia back in 2014 - explained more in this vlog).

These Malaysia videos are getting us so excited for when we're there. Currently in Hanoi, Vietnam & Malaysia looks....different from what we're experiencing here😅 Hopefully we cross paths next month in Thailand!!!

I’m doing a trip to Malaysia and love your videos! Do you recommend Langkawi? I only have 8 nights so was going to do 3 in Penang and 5 in KL but could do 2 in Langkawi!

Oooh thats a tough one! Malaysia does have some of the best transport in the world and will get you to places quickly and efficiently. If you're going between Dec-March (dry season) we'd definitely recommend Langkawi, its only a quick flight from Penang. Is this your first trip to Malaysia? If so, probably just stick to KL and Penang, otherwise maybe 3 nights KL, 3 in Penang and 2 in Langkawi. Its absolutely worth getting a car or scooter to explore the island, there are some great hidden gems and stunning beaches. Thanks so much for watching! Enjoy your trip 🇲🇾❤️

@@KristyandSteve there are 2 monsoon seasons in Malaysia. The other the South West monsoon is drier. The worst is Oct till Feb. Heavy rains, flooding.

Langkawi’s dry season is similar to Phuket’s ie Dec to March.
