I'm 6'4" and was pretty close to maxed out in front, back seat would be a no-go with a headset.

Non-issue since I currently fly an Archer with split window.

@@simdpk I do too, but the column on the pipistrel seems to be a lot more obstructive 🤷‍♂️. Doesn’t really matter though, still love the plane 😁😁

Inside it's smaller than the SR22. I'm 6'4" and was up against the roof up front with my headset on and in the back even with no headset.

Look at the Diamond DA50. That has the CD300 6 Cylinder Conti turbodiesel. Like you said, 9 Gallon JET A1 consumption.

@@ClintEatWood yeah ... love that plane but it's super expensive and not as fast ... and it's super expensive because that stupid CD300 is stupid expensive. They need to start putting automotive 350HP tdi engines in these things... they're more advanced and cost 1/8th as much and are super efficient and reliable

@@rtardbox , that's right. I think it is the weight of the typical 3.0 automotive TDI, they are relatively heavy compared to the CD300.

It's acceptable, but also depends on what you are used to.

@@fifi23o5 regardless,a well made and impressive aircraft...as far as I’m concerned the panthera is a better performer than the DA50rg..and cost less to operate

@@unkameatgoodbar2315 True. And I could bet it handles better, too! I was fortun ate enough to get a ride in Panthera. I was filming in Pipistrel factory and I got a ride in Velis Electro and Panthera with a factory pilot. And, since I used to fly, pilot let me take control for a while. It is surprisingly responsive, but at the same tme pretty stable, it flies hands-free without a problem. Controls are very nicely ballanced and proportioned, stick is a two finger affair, it is a lot of fun to fly, not just for transport fron A to B.

@@unkameatgoodbar2315 Pilot showed me a few spins, I tried one. It's quite gentle, exits easily, with just controls in neutral, it stops in less than half turn, I didn't look at the height loss, but it seemed pretty little to me. Pre-stall buffeting is there, it is just not very pronounced like in some planes, probably because of overall aerodynamic cleanlyness and T-tail, but you can feel it and it also has AoA indicator and alarm. Landing gear also seems to be very robust and comfortable. I didn't land myself, but I know that gress field, it's not the smoothest, but I couldn't feel any holes.

Probably the inferior GoPro mic. It didn't seam unusually louder than other GA planes.

You can travel 1000 miles on 50 gallons of gas in this thing. I'd say the price is right.

Useless masks that is.. especially so when outside..

Masks are for others' safety, not your own. If I caught it I'd most likely be OK but the mask greatly lessens the chance I'll pass it on to my parents or grandparents, etc. But hey...fuck old people and the immunocomprimised, amirite? Only pussies wear a mask!
