Literally making my imagination years ago come true. A space battle with several different halo ships dooking it out. You as the play can control a ship of two factions and one v one another ship. I also want to say the largest ship there is called an assault carrier, much smaller version. I don't like correcting people but I figure you would like the little tip. Wish I had the laptop for this awesome mod:)

Man seriously thank you. Its because of you that i enjoyed playing halo with mods. The work you put into making thoses not only playable but enjoyable, its so great.

Forward unto dawn has one of the coolest cinematic shots I’ve ever seen. When the covenant first attack and the camera pans up and all you see is the glowing lights of the phantoms.

I forgot how much love the cruiser got in the Halo games so far, from the flyover in Halo 3 on Tsavo Highway, to the glassing beam they gave it in halo reach. The effect of the howling noise and the red light coming over the city in New Alexandria is enough to give goosebumps. Not to mention we get two of them shot down, one at the end of Sword Base, the other at the end of Pillar of Autumn, AND it shooting down a frigate at the end of Tip of the Spear

This makes me excited for a naval battle sever tbh

Imagine a gamemode where the Covenant have to glass a planet and the UNSC defends it. The Covenant players must destroy UNSC ships and glass the planet. The UNSC players have to hold out to evacuate the planets. You can choose to pilot a ship or board a Covenant ship as a Spartan to bring them down from the inside. Covenant players could not defend their own ships, just AI, but Covenant forces can board stations to prevent the loss of valuable ships. I also had an idea to fix rendering as this would be hard on slow devices. Basically, when you enter the Covenant ship or UNSC station, the station and ships would be located beneath the planet layer far from the main space battle to prevent devices from having to render both instances at the same time. This also fixes the issue of not having to make sure all objects on the Covenant ships being boarded are not have to move with the ship which can cause problems. Instead, players who board load a stationary map beneath the planet layer and fight on there. If the ship they are boarding on explodes, then players could be teleported back to the destroyed ship inside a transport or just be shown a camera of the ship they are in exploding the the PvP ship area.

Seeing how fast Reach mods are coming out like this makes me hope that sometime in the future we could get a custom game mode similar to Battlefront 2 (2005) with actual interiors to the ships where enemy boarding parties can drop off troops to sabotage the bridge and engine room. Only in my dreams.

Suggestion: Another custom camera track that switches to a view from near the glassing cannon when you switch to it. This would let you be precise when aiming the weapon and add a bit of feel to the ship mechanics. I don't know how possible this is, but it would be really cool.

Fun fact: The CCS’s actual speed in-game and lore wise is A LOT faster than this.

RejectedShotgun when you switch to the glassing beam you should make a secondary camera angle so people can see what it looks like when you fire it from above

I thought It'd be cool to see some kind of purple/blue spartan laser effect for another weapon set. Seeing as how Covenant ships have a laser point defence system.

I now want to make an insane Invasion and/or Infection gametype where one side is trying to stop the other from getting to the covenant cruiser and glassing the entire battlefield.

I think the best place for a covenant cruiser would be an end of match cinematic. After the match ends you could have it as a scenery that comes in and glasses the level right at the "game over announcement"

Man i wish i could just get in a game with your giant map, 16 people and all these vehicle mods this looks simultaneously so entertaining and fresh while still being nostalgic

Got to make a massive map on this idea, I’d love gigantic space battles I don’t care how unbalanced it is I’d play it all the time. Just make two static ships, forge massive interiors to conceal the ships in a few separate docking bays followed by massive old school halo ce styled corridors that connects each room to each hanger. An armory would be sweet. Just a massive space sand box, maybe even throw in a few ai outside that respawn every few minutes just to spice things up and add more life. If only I had the patience to do what you do.

Should make it so it does trail damage while flying at around the battle field. For example... Make it so it gives out the explosive damage when it fires. But keep the beam active for 10-20 seconds and fly around leaving a molten trail of hot residue that doesn’t cool for some time. Just some thoughts running through my head.

I think you should add passenger seats across the sides for broadsides and, if possible, change the angle when the glassing reticle is activated to position the camera right under the ship around where the beam comes out

If you could make the primary weapon some kind of up-scaled plasma launcher that can lock onto vehicles from a very large number of units away, I think that would be the best representation of plasma torpedoes possible.
