Just imagine the amount of parasitic drag that comes off your plane at 4,500 mph! The fact that thing can even control ailerons, rudders, and elevators, plus not get inflamed from all that heat & friction is some very impressive engineering.

very cool video, the x-11 is i’m pretty sure either a ramjet or scram jet, but the sr-71 is the fastest air breathing jet engine, they basically put a j58 inside a ram jet lol very interesting concept

Back when I young and playing X-Plane on mobile I'd always go full throttle straight out to space with the X-15 until running out of fuel. I could reach altitudes of 200k and above. Unrealistic but it was always very fun

the sr 71 blackbird engines are amazing when the plane reached the speed of Mach 3.2 the exterior of the plane heated up to 500dergees Fahrenheit easy enough to melt aircraft aluminum so they designed the plane with titanium for 92 percent of the aircraft and one thing Lockheed sr 71 blackbird predecessor is a12 [forCIA]

The defenses of the SR-71 were very high altititude, very fast, and early stealth technology, along with flare dispensers. It did NOT have "no defenses". It is ALSO the official speed holder at somewhat FASTER than Mach 3.

Technically Elon names his son after the a-12, the slightly faster prototype variant of the sr71. So technically the x-15 is the fastest, then the a-12, then the sr-81 is at third.

the s71 blackbird has a radar-absorbing shape, jp 7 low absorbing fuel, titanium alloy airframe, Mach 3.2 BLEED -BYPASS engines, triethyl BORANGE CHEMICAL IGNITION, PRATT AND WHITNEY j58 jet engine and 32,500 lbs of thrust with afterburners and engines are described as turboramjets at below match 2 they will perform as convention after burners

*Feedback*:You need to use the 757 more often in your short runway videos. You should also try to include the thick plane that has like 4 engines and 4 parachutes and only needs like 6 meters to land.
