Flying Through The Glacier, Aiguille Du Midi Sessions. Click here to follow Carlos: kzfaq.info_c...
I recently had the opportunity to jump from Aiguille Du Midi exit point in France, where I was able to discover and enjoy four intense proximity lines. These included: Trent's Line aka The old man, Glacier Bossons, The Ridge line and Cheese Grater.

When I was under 9 years or some, I had never ridden a bycicle. When I started learning it I fell a few times, but after years of practice I was able to ride it down a steep extremely curvy slope. That is what it is, nothing different. The basic you need is balance, and control. Gravity, velocity and the squirrel gear will help you glide through this slope but first you need to learn how to use all these parameters in an open skydiving space (to master the balance and control). Then gradually you take on steepier and more and more challenging locations.

I did mention about practice of course. Indeed I agree that some are born, even to ride a bycicle (some people does not know, they got very scared or visceral they would get hit by a truck and not trying etc). The same subjectiveness applies in any activity or sport. The more you are accustomed the better you becomes. If I tried this at the age of 10, in open air space, I would gradually get this done over one cliff, then over steep mountains, then tripping all sorts. Practice makes perfect: here's an example kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rrePfLSEmLyvmnU.html

Because there is nothing safe about it.....winds are unpredictable....which is why so many die doing it Doing it out in the open sky is one thing... Have you ever felt a gust of wind hit your car? Wind gusts around mountains are very common which is why they are ignorant for doing things like that

@@deannelson9565 My guess is the fly the same route lower and lower. The problem is one down draft and it's lights out. Weather isn't 100% predictable. This is why hanggliders started flying higher and carrying parachutes. Paraggliders and wingsuit fliers are going through the same process. They sure are fun to watch, but I hope they fly with a bigger safety margin.

To have 1 million views, there would have to be tits properly framed for the whole video, and most certainly as click bait in the trailer photo. "wingsuit girl" with the tits cam would get 10 million views. You could have a video of a girl sitting there sewing, and as long as she had on a skimpy outfit that reveals the nipples, other videos lacking this just are not going to compete with that. I think ALL you-tube videos should put a clickbait photo of a girl with huge tits barely wearing anything, even videos about fixing your lawnmower. You want the views? You gotta play the game and slang that almighty T & A!

If flown correctly a lot. They can actually gain altitude at the end to deploy in a safer environment. It also depends on the suit. You got power suits that are made to be flown fast and hard and at the end pull you out, you have cruise suits and you have aerobatic suits. Each serve their purpose and you have to know the suits to the last bit to fly it safely so low. It is a long process to get to this level but a short one to get killed afterwards. This kind of flying is on the edge and some day they will slip off of it. But to tell you the truth as an intermediate skydiver I long for such jump.

I suppose Briceño has taken this "proximity" thing as far as it can go, really. How can this envelope be pushed any further without putting a grave in the equation? I hope, after Polli's death two years later, in this very same place, he has a chat with Loïc Jean-Albert so he takes time to think and eases off to consider a long life. The limit has been reached here, maybe it's time for less radical activity in a wingsuit.

I did look it up, and I disagree with you. If you mean proximity with the side of a mountain with nothing beneath, this does not count for me. I meant to say proximity to the ground with no room to spare. I saw nothing in your friend's clips remotely comparable to Briceño's Aguille du Midi sessions, especially on the 'cheese grater'
