If you don't see Dres' rings (as in your video), save and reload. There's a rendering bug, where you sometimes can't see Dres' rings (as in your video). To work around the bug, save and reload, or quit and restart the game (reloading). Once they render, the rings are as clear as day.

Except once you reload your ship has no more fairings, and your Kerbal is no longer in the ship rendering it un flyable.... Lol... BUT, on the bright side you CAN see the rings of Dres! Lmao (jk, post update lots of bugs were fixed, kind of, some times, on occasion...)

From what I heard, they added a lot more in ksp2 like the rings, planetwide canyon, and more biomes. I'm just surprised he's gone interplanetary with no maneuver planner.

There are special locations in the game. Like big metal arches on Mun or sculpture of monk on Tylo. I hope you plan to visit them in future videos

As for that ridge across the equator of Dres you can see the exact same phenomenon on one of the moons of Saturn, Iapetus. The main theory is that Saturns rings deposited material across it's equator over time causing it to have that defined ridge. If you want a more extreme version look up another one of Saturns moons called Pan.

Imagine being a huge space rock getting trapped in orbit of a huge gas giant with rings being one of the most unique moons ever, just to be discovered by scientists and named lapetus💀💀💀💀🤑🤑🤑🤑😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The ridge is made from the ring slowly spiraling into dres.

it's funny that out of the trio of Blitz, RCE, and Intern, intern seems to be doing the best in ksp RCE's just making and/or breaking silly records, blitz is just messing around, but intern has a proper space program going on, getting all over the kerbolar system

the rings become dark when you load a quicksave. restarting the game will fix them and then you can see them much clearer

That ridge is in line with the ring. It's the rocks and dust that deorbit and hit into the planet. Any rocky planet with a ring would have it I'd imagine

Good video, thanks for the epic content. You should try and leave the solar system, launching a rocket all the way out to the edge, maybe setting up a base or a rover or something on the farthest planet.

You should fly to Laythe. It has an atmosphere like Kerbin, so Kerbals can take their helmet off and jet engines work

With it being early access. Dosent surprise me the rings weren’t there ish. In a few months they hopefully will have made more progress. Since I’m a console person I’ll be waiting probably next year. Ugh. Great video

So that ridge is more than likely the particles that make up the ring that have, over millennia, been pulled into a sinking orbit and collect on the surface of the body, hence why it appears on a body with rings along a single axis. Also, just fyi, rings are usually composed of ice, dust, and rocks, so I have no idea why it collects as a yellow substance. Maybe super low surface temps and sulfuric atmosphere cause the ice to turn yellow.

the 'ridge' is probably there because some of the ring smashed into the surface of Dres... ...also Dres has a RING now? I play a lot of KSP but I do not remember a ring around it...

I hope they make the planets more unique looking. The only difference between Duna and Eve was the colour of the rocks. Which in Eves case was just rock coloured. Like the atmosphere and stuff should look different.

In real life the only difference you're going to see in most atmospheres is color and density. You want really different looking planets wait until kids like EVE and Parallax come out for KSP2.

I challenge Intern to get as far as possible away from the sun. Basically, try and leave the solar system or as close as possible to leave the solar system.

you had 2k dv, you could have easily caught yourself in an orbit by simply doing a normal/antinormal burn to get to the rings instead of a radial burn.
