Today we're kinda figuring out how to get from Billund Airport to Aarhus, Denmark as we go LOL. Honestly, we'd never heard of Aarhus until about a month ago. But when we saw the cheap Ryanair flight to Billund Airport in Billund, we thought we might as well book it & check it out for ourselves. We flew from Krakow, Poland to Billund, Denmark. We then took the bus from Billund Airport to Aarhus for the final leg of the journey. When you were in Poland on your way to Denmark, you had to visit beautiful Gdańsk, the only one with a different architecture than the rest of Poland, and fly from Gdańsk to Denmark.

Well, taking the flixbus from Billund to Aarhus would cost you probably 120 DKK for 2 tickets. The reason the airport bus is so expensive, is due to the distance from Billund to Aarhus, and 90DKK from the ticket, includes an airport tax... which is insanly overpriced. Anyway I hope you enjoyed my city Aarhus:)

Another place I have never seen, I was once in københavn, the capital, a long time ago on a ship when I was in the US merchant marine. Have fun, they have delicious pastry in that country!

We LOVED our time there. Hannah's currently editing this vlog & it'll go live tomorrow, but it completely caught us by surprise. We figured we'd not really like it that much because of how cold it is, but Denmark does an incredible job making things feel cozy. We absolutely LOVED it!!!

Brave people, going to an unknown Danish place 🇩🇰 - as an Aarhusianer, I am happy, that you chosen going to Aarhus. But you should also have checked out Billund, the home of LEGO toys and Legoland. You played with those bricks once, didn't you?

Oh we're DEFINITELY familiar with Legos!! We wish we'd gotten to see Billund too, but thankfully there's a really convenient airport so we'll no doubt be back! We seriously loved Aarhus so much. The period of time that we were there was incredibly busy for us, but Aarhus gave us such a sense of peace. We have some of the fondest memories of our year while in Aarhus & we'll no doubt be back to Denmark to see much more of it. Thank you so much for watching our video!!

@@ProbablyLost In Billund, you both have LEGOLAND and LEGO house (try to search for those). You are not very far from Jelling either, where you have the Runic stones (Jellingstenene), known as "Denmark's birthcertificate". So if you will be back, a little for you to research. The Jutland westcoast is also worth a visit.
