Hi Kye! I’m saving your vid so I can watch it again before I travel to Korea. Btw, kapag fully vaccinated ka naman with booster and then negative ka sa antigen sa manila. Pero kung nagpositive ka upon prc test sa arrival sa korea. Anong mangyayari? maquarantine ka sa hotel? gano katagal if ever? or pwede ka pa rin namang magexplore sa lbas for monitoring nga lang? Question with regards to the QR code: I would need to take a PCR or antigen test 48 hrs prior to my flight... then another rapid antigen test 24 hrs after? Or can I just do the QR code 24 hrs before my flight to save me from doing 2 rapid antigen tests? thank you!

You’ll need test results to get your qcode. Antigen 24hrs before your flight is accepted. Within 3 days of arrival, you’ll need another mandatory pcr test. ☺️

Hi there and good day!May i inquire on your interpretation of the 48 hours rtpcr test period because i am a little confused on the timing. My flight is on november 17 at 5:30pm. Will the 48 hours testing period start at Nov 15 at 00:01 AM? Or Nov 15 at 5:30pm also. No need to book an appointment for pcr at incheon, and it costs 80000won. No need to input arrival pcr results in qcode. What you’ll need for the qcode is pre-departure test results.

Hi! 1yr old no need as long as traveling with a fully vaccinated adult. The 9yr old is not exempted.

Thank you for posting this! I have a US passport and I'll be flying there on July 21st from the Philippines. (been in the Philippines since 2019). I'll just be there from 7pm on July 21st to 6pm on July 24th. I'll have a PCR test on arrival, July 21st. Would I need to have another test before I leave on July 24th? Thanks

Hello po! I'm planning a trip to SK and was wondering abt the Antigen test needed for the QCode system. I'm a swabber myself and the hospital I work at doesn't have a QR on our official result, okay lang po ba yun? And yung sa repeat antigen tests on the 6th or 7th day, is it really okay if I bring my own kit, and will it be reported po? Salamat po sa sagot ma'am ;)

Hi! The antigen test just needs to be from an accredited doh lab. There’s no requirement for a qr code for the results ☺️ Yes okay lang own kit. You’ll just need to report if positive.

I got it from new world diagnostics. You can get the test from any doh accredited laboratory.

Kailangan mag quarantine pero not sure kung ano rules nila ngayon. Parang mga 5 days yung quarantine tapos mag self-test. Best to check nalang pag nearer your flight kasi nagiiba minsan ☺️

Qcode can only be done 48 hrs before the flight. You can apply for k-eta now. K-eta is valid for 2yrs ☺️

I was out the door in just 15mins, and then i had to walk a bit for the swab test. So around 30mins max for me, but the airport was pretty empty when I arrived. No lines at all even in the swab test area.

You only report the results if you’re positive. They give a number/website in the lab for reporting results.

Thanks for the video! I’m going to South Korea next week but I had Covid 2 weeks ago. I’m negative on a rapid antigen test but I’m worried about testing positive on a PCR test there. Would I be able to skip quarantine if I have a recovery certificate and show i am fully vaccinated??

Hello! You’ll still need a pre-departure pcr test. But yes as long as you have the necessary documents, you’ll be able to skip quarantine ☺️

So you mentioned K-ETA is like Korean Visa on Philippine side, I will travelling to Jeju next month and Visa Free... So no need of K-ETA, right? I got confused kasi because most of I read, it says K-ETA is for all foreigners who will enter Korea. I tried registering on K-ETA, and PH cant be registered. For filipinos, you’ll need a tourist visa. I’m a US passport holder that’s why I got a k-eta as explained in my video. For jeju though, you won’t need a visa.

Yes pcr is needed upon arrival. I took mine in the incheon airport and it costs around 4000 pesos. I used boq for proof of vaccination since it’s the one recognized by WHO.

For the pcr on arrival that you take in the airport, you don’t have to submit it anywhere. The results are monitored and forwarded to your hotel and the government.

Hindi kailangan ng qr code sa test result. As long as accredited laboratory pwede iupload sa qcode

@@KyeSees yes po for applying visa. what if wala po itr and hindi naman ako business owner. do you happen to know po the requirements needed? Thank you again :)
