BEST TUTORIAL EVER. looked at like 50 videos and none of them worked.... EXCEPT THIS ONE!!!

Holy crap!!! This video is fucking awesome!!! Please make more!!! Since the companies that make quadcopter stuff can't be bothered to provide any product manuals I have to scour the internet searching for instructions. I've watched well over a hundred hours of KZfaq videos on this stuff and hands down this was the most complete, concise and helpful video I've ever come across. Seriously, make more videos.

Thank you so very much. I couldnt figure out why my Controller wasnt saving the settings..I wasnt holding down CANCEL TO SAVE..I hope this helps someone else who missed that...Excellent video. This was my first drone experience and it went a lil rough for me getting the firmware to flash...after i downloaded every singe USB driver i could and my motherboards USB driver...BOOM IT WORKED!!!!!! It took 5 hours...at on point I thought to myself...this drone is gonna fly outta my hands into the wall when I throw it....but I kept with it and it worked!!!

I just brought a x220 second hand got it home and somehow I did something it wouldn't arm wouldn't power up I followed your video and BING PERFECT !!! its now just past midnight but my new Quad is ready to roll! I cant wait for my first day of flying tomorrow!! thank you so much!

You should plug the receiver cable into the port on the back of the flight controller, and enable serial rx on port 3 in ports and use ibus protocol in Beta flight settings. Then plug the receiver plug into top right on the receiver. Enjoy. Ibus is way better than PPM.

Thank you so much man. I searched through a lot of tutorials that, while helpful, had a lot of steps like "Just do X, its pretty easy" but skipped over the step. While manageable, it can be frustrating. As a complete beginner I'm not intuitive enough to know how to do those steps right. Just wanted to say THANK YOU~~! No one has a video that shows you to connect your receiver to the power pin / channel 1. Everyone says connect to ibus servo, but that is WRONG it does not work. I dont' know how anyone got it to work with ibus because I couldn't do it for hours on end trying. And some how I found your video and it was the correct video. I hope everyone watches this video on the setup. All the other videos are wrong. I'm still a noob but heck I've learnt something today Your a life saver buddy! Double Thumbs up

I didn't know which switch/knob to turn for channel5, so took some time to figure out. You helped a lot but to be honest this video is not for a beginner as there were a lot of assumptions in your explanation. For example, channel5 you said it should be set to on but didn't show which knob to turn to set it to -100%. All the same, I have subscribed.

Hi Adam, I'm trying to setup the Failsafe, i'm having two problems, channel 3 works fine when i turn it on, but channel 5 is not responding, when i flip the switch nothing happens. Second problem is when i leave the menu and come back to the channels, both channels are off again.

hello there. I have had my Wizard now for a few weeks and from all the videos i have seen it looks like it will be a blast to fly. But my only problem is i am having heaps of problems with beta flight no recognising that the drone is being plugged in and i am not able to flash it either any help would be greatly appreciated

i have done all u say and i try my drone without propellers and when i give command to go up slowely everything is fine but if i do that fast it cant go slow again i need turn it off then it will stop...also when i press go up it constantly speeds up it wont stop untill i get command down, and if motors catch a lot of seed it wont stop speeding up again

The receiver part for me has no colour in any of the AUX and theres no response not like in the video the way there all moving when you move you controler sticks. and ive followed every step right i dont know whats going on id love some help been at the drone for 2 days tryna get it to work

Also i would like to add...This drone is a bit more than i expected in power...I thought since it was cheap that it would be kinda junky and good to learn with....Boy was i wrong, I havent even flown this thing and I can tell just front throttling it up it has ALOT of power...also the controls are INSANELY sensitive....this is in a league im not in yet..Get the Flysky adapter kit so you can play with flight simulator..

Hello : Have a question for you that you may help me with???? I'm new to fpv and my wife surprised me with a Eachine Wizard X220 FPV Racer Blheli_S F3 6DOF 5.8G 48CH 200MW 700TVL Camera w/ FlySky I6 RTF and of course there are no instructions that came with it and I have no idea how all this is supposed to work. Now I got to the point where I got the fpv and my googles to work and I was able to pair the receiver with the drone but I can't get the motors to start. So I did some more research on you tube and down loaded Beta Flight and connected the drone with my computer to check out the operation. Well when I tabbed down to the receiver tab and it opened there is no info. According to other posts there are different color horozonal bars that show up to correspond with the different radio controls and would move when you would move each control. Well on my system there are no color bar and no movement when moving the controls. I can't find any instruction on how to go about checking what would cause this problem? So is there any instruction you could give me on how to go about and what to check so I can make the controls work, I think if I can figure this problem out this will fix the problem of the motors not wanting to ture on?. I hope I explained and made sense on my problem. Thanks for your help I watched your channel and have learned a lot so thanks again. John

Hi i loaded bebeta flight still the same with the settings the same as yours but no luck i don't get the bars in the receiver showing up the the role and pitch work on the quad but no arming on props what it could be i am at a loss.

Any suggestions if the boot loader still won't connect? Also on a Mac.

Hey Adam mate please can you help me ive flashed my wizzard to the newest firmware but now it will only go into bootloader mode so im lost please help

I’ve bonded my transmitter to my mob 7 and the arm/disarm is on the top left switch but I want it so that when I click down it disarms and up arms but it’s the other way around. And my drone seems to fly at a forward angle. Doesn’t the Mobula7 BNF FlySky model come with flight pre sets that I can just hook up transmitter and fly?

Do I have to bind the controller newly after flashing/updating the firmware? I want to update the firmware but I don't have the "binding loop" :-/

I am having issues setting up my drone. I have bought the components for the pro version with the Blheli_s 4in one ESC 30A and the flysky transmitter & receiver (FS-IA6B). I have paired my radio with the receiver and connected the receiver to the pads labeled sbus on the flight controller/ESC board. I configured my flight controller to use serial communication and Ibus in betaflight. I have in tern tried to configure all the different uart ports to serial Rx. however I still cant get any signal from my transmitter to show up in the receiver tap in betaflight. I have looked at countless videos and cant figure out what im doing wrong. Is it possible that the Blheli_s flightcontoller/escs don’t support I-bus?

What do I when the rc controller knows the rc is there has the RX in the corner but beta flight and the drone do not recognise it PLEASE RESPONd

So I just got my first racing drone (Eachine x220) and I have paired it with my controller (fly sky i6) but it does not register the controller on beta flight. I tried to flash the firmware but kept getting the message "no response from the boot loader". Do you have any tips on how to fix this? Thank you!

Hay i have talked a while back but i am setting up my x220 now and am finding that when the throtle is pushed up a bit and left there it auto exselorates. My old non racing drone dose not do this. It this normal for racing drones or is somthing not set up right?
