I'll agree and say you're made a great decision. I got one for my first mini-z, and I've been binding every FlySky receiver I can to it. Everything I've driven with it has felt more responsive and under a lot more control. Love it!!!

For steering mix on the Noble you go to Mixes on the second screen then 4WS Mixing. I have mine set to change the different steering option on the paddle buttons near the steering wheel. I love this radio! I'm using it on most all my SCX24s, my Mini-Zs thanks to a chip that plugs into the bottom on the handle and now my Xmaxx.

Nice! That should be easy enough. That’s where I had to mix the motors for the dual motor setup so shouldn’t be too bad for 4ws. I’ll have to try it out on my Losi lmt. All of my crawlers I just run rear steering with the dial but I’d like to have it switchable for the lmt! I appreciate the info! Glad I’m not the only Scx24 guy loving this transmitter lol

I have the NB4 on the way with the FHSS plug in module. Can you run the SCX24 built in receiver with that setup like you can the FHSS Mini Z's?

Thanks Matt been waiting on your review on the Noble. Seems very sweet, but $240 right now hard to justify. Unless anyone on here wants to buy my DX5 Rugged, it's orange. I think I'll go with your recommendation for the GT5 for now to run my SCX24 and my TRX4. Trying to save to build Mojave EXB. Thanks again Matt you always seem to have us blue collar guys in mind during your reviews. Keep up the great work brother.

I agree. Spektrum never again. My DX5 started dying 3 months after I bought it. Bad Contacts on the switches forced me to go to the menu just to change trim. Skrew Spektrum😁 Hello Flysky

Thanks for the review on this TX looking for something a little smaller to put all my 1/10 crawlers on, a little costly here in Canada $340CAD, $49CAD per Receiver. but i am getting pissed at my Dx5 Rugged!!

Hi! This videohelped me to know I can mix MOA with this. I dont think it have drive mix like the pro does? Or maybe new firmware have it? Can you show your settings how you have your MOA mixing? It would be great!

Agree with the 5 series Spektrum, I hated it. Is there a way of making a switch 3 position for front and rear dig, rather than have to use two separate buttons? I like the look of the Noble, but i run Sanwa, and the mixing is easy for MOA or 4WS. For MOA I use one switch with 3 positions for front/rear dig, and another switch for front/rear bias. Any more than 2 switches just over complicates things in a comp situation, when you're using it on the fly. The Noble is a nice looking radio with cheap receivers, so I'd be tempted if the mixing was more simple.

@@matthewcostner2937 that’s usually an esc setting. Drag brake and brake percentage is set through the esc. What are you using it on?

@@2fmrc a mmx8s I know I can do it with the esc but at the time I'm running a dx5c and I have brakes on th fly with a switch and I just ordered a nb4 and was curious if I could do the same woth the nb4 with brakes on the fly the same way I do with my dx5c if not I can do it woth the esc and castle card if I need to

@@matthewcostner2937 yep should be able to adjust the same. Basically you could plug the aux wire from the castle esc into like ch3 or 4 and then you’ll go into the settings on the Noble and designate which button or wheel you want to control that channel. There is actually a dial on the side labeled vr1 that I use for mine on my ryft. It’s set up exactly like you’re wanting to do. Then I can actually just scroll the dial and slowly add brake or take it away. It works great!

Hi I have a Bully2 and I am thinking about buying the noble. Can you show me the settings you are using for the moa mix with overdrive and especially the front and rear dig. I currently have a Radiolink RF6GS and for the life of me cannot figure out how to do the dig.

how did you set up your bully with nb4 ? i am building a dual motor scx24 and i was able only to program front dig (rear locked) using "programming mixes" .... but i cannot figure our the other way around .....

I normally put my rear servo on the dial by my thumb. The vr1 dial or tr4 scroll wheel work pretty well. I like to control my rear steer separate vs switching through modes.

I’m in the market for a new transmitter. I only use a rustler and my scx24. Do you think I should go for the noble or just get a gt5? It’s tax season so I have the option to be fancy haha. Been waiting on the killr chassis to be available

Honestly for the scx24s I like the gt5 because you have the micro receiver options where you don’t with the noble. If you ever plan to run a track or race etc there is a big difference between the noble and gt5 but for crawling and bashing the gt5 works great!

The stock esc is an all in one esc/receiver. It won’t work with a separate transmitter. You’ll need a new esc to run the noble with the scx24.

Is this thing really only a 4 channel? That's what I keep reading. With all the buttons and switches, etc. you'd think it had more channels.

i just feel like a lot of these companies need a reality check. like they might think these transmitters are all fancy compared to other outdated transmitters but this is all old tech and its extremely prevalent. you can get a smart phone that has like 10x the capability for like 50 bucks from any phone store. its not the 70's where a microwave is $3,000 anymore but until someone beaks the cycle these companies know they can monopolize.

@@ickypowwow6635 no doubt! I feel like flysky actually does much better on their pricing than any of the other companies. Futaba and Sanwa want $6-700 for this type radio. It’s nuts! Now the new Noble pro is a bit out of hand imo. It comes in at $400+. Nope! Not for me!
