Love it! I’d love to see some lower league tactics. All these new roles are great but I feel like you really need quality players to use them effectively. Would be nice to see how they might be implemented in lower leagues, or any alternatives

Can you do the 4-2-3-1 system that Pep started the season with? Although it did have some building up issues on the right side for City but City had the best start to PL season in years. Seems like Pep is revitalizing (or going in more a traditional system for providing Haaland with tap-ins) the Prime Barca tactic in a way with one Full back pushing and another playing as CB.

Trying this tactic in a Rangers save and it’s a lot of fun! Any tips for tough away trips (in Europe mostly)? You mentioned having your DLP on defend for Barca. Would you maybe change the AF to PF too?

Everyone will use unconventional methods to get their 2-3-5 or 3-2-5 Remember the distances they move out in possession determine how safe you might be in transitions Moving the cb and fb could end badly due to 2players moving back into the back 4

Yeah, I think this comes in handy with really good, prolific wingers that you want to keep out wide, especially to get them some space. Here’s a pretty boring example: let’s say Brighton has Mitoma on the left, you can finally tell a winger to cut in from the touchline and exploit his ability on the ball without loading him with off-the-ball responsibilities, which he might not really succeed in fulfilling at IF or IW. edti: and of course, theses modern mutations of the positions are just sexy. we all can feel like we know what we are doing finally.

@@ceo8679so far I think the most efficient one is having an IFB and an IWB, so the first joins the centrebacks and the latter forms a double pivot with the dlp. For the other two cm just use the roles in this video

I'm a big Tottenham fan and have been loving how Ange has been playing so tried to somewhat recreate it in a 4-3-3 similar to this but with the dual IWBs and two CBs rather than the IFB/IWB/Libero setup. Definitely will be trying to bring over some of the other tactical instructions though as I realized in our first game we got dominated possession-wise despite getting the win!

Quick question how do you get all your teams player names to show. I know the preferences way but that does both teams if I recall. And the ctrl + click way but that wears off if you click anything.

Looks nice! One thing that looks odd to me is that it fixes Balde so far behind as last defendor. With teams with very good offensive wb (such as balde) is it not a waste of potential of their skill to overlap from side and play near the area or cross some balls?

Hi, could you replace the mezzala with an AP on attack and replace the DLP with a BWM on defend, while still making this tactic play out the same?

Could you do the Barça real version? I mean, instructions are just about the same, but roles are quite different, with a long wing back on attack in Balde and no libero. It would be nice to see if you can find a role in the left winger that mimics João Felix movement into the box midfield. On FM23 I found it quite impossible

@@uzeddy on FM23 positionally it was the closest call, but neither his behaviour nor mentality where what I was looking for. No need for the doble pivot. With Cancelo Xavi plays a Pentagon at the midfield, using him as IWB. without him Kounde or Araujo kind of play as IFB to create the 325 box shape.

2-3 seems a little clunky, lot of players in the same space. You should try a 3-2 in the back to see if players given more space react better.

This tactic kinda works on the offense, But atleast in my Bayer 04 save ( which have pretty good CBs to play as libero) I feel like the team sucks at defending. Opponent have like 3 or 4 chances in the game but score always 2-3. Feeling like on these years game I have way less key highlights then previous games. Anyone noticed that?

With the cut inside winger, do you want opposite footed players to their side of the field, similar to IW or IF?

Generally if you want to have your winer cut inside you need to make sure they have at least a decent weak foot. If they dont then you would want to use him as a traditional winger.

hey man love your content...I play similar to this on my Arsenal save but trying to input Artetas as im a season ticket hold at the gooners. GK - SK-AT RB - WB/SU LB-IFB/DEF LCB - L/SU RCB- CD/DE CDM - HB/DE LCM - RPM/SU RCM - BBM/SU LW - W/AT RW - IW/AT ST - AF/AT with the different rolls ive gone overlap on the right and underlap on the left. Apart from that its all pretty similar

I have to disagree. I’ve just tried this with a recently promoted and rejuvenated Southampton side and it worked so well. I just beat Arsenal 3-0 and whilst my tactic was working ok, I’m stunned at how well this worked. It’s a really big hit from me.
