He’s so used to having a microphone in front of him or in his hand. It makes me laugh. He keeps looking up to make sure he stays as close as possible to the microphone hanging down.

*LIVE. ZERO AUTOTUNE* Raw talent. Raw stage presence. Great-looking humble country boy. Raised on gospel. Born into poverty. Grew up singing in a church choir. Humble.. This is why they called him the KING. He only went into Sun Records to record a 2 sided record for his mother's birthday and Sam Philip's mouth fell open when he started singing to the microphone. He was a truck driver then on a lunch break. The rest is music that inspired John Lennon amongst others. Elvis. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Beautiful tenor vocal. Elvis was the best looking, most charismatic, had a beautiful voice, was a natural dancer, was an original -- the gifts that God gave that one mortal man were nothing short of amazing.

He was not a tenor he was a lyrical baritone. He had a very versatile singing style, which is why in many of his songs from the early '60s his voice sounds like a tenor.

I watched it live..an 8th grade Elvis fanatic and was nervous as hell for him. Looking back, it was better than I remembered. He was in great voice here.

This is truly a gem! Elvis probably at his best looking ever, fresh out of the Army, fit, looks like he just got beamed down from heaven, he had the best hair too, his voice was well rested after all that Rock n Roll of the '50's and it sounds velvety, honey-silky smooth. And, wait for that pitch at 2:28 ....."my, waaaayyy". Unbelievable!

I'm surprized teenagers would go for Elvis Presley these days. I'm 44 and I remember when I was 14 a lot of kids laughed at me because they were all listening to heavy metal music. They would tell me that Elvis is dead and out of date, but they were dead wrong. Elvis Presley is a legend. He is timeless and he will be around forever.

If anybody is wondering why is Elvis keeps looking up at? It's the boom mic above his head barely. Wasn't for that you could not hear him sing. Plus allows you to be hands free of a stand mic or mic in your hand.

Elvis Presley is the "King of Rock 'n' Roll" for the body of his work (since the mid-fifties). He never wrote music; he wasn't a great guitar man; but he had all the other elements that the others rockers hadn't so much: Spectacular Voice, Perfect Rendition, Performance, Dancing, Repertoire, Recordings (many many recordings), and Sex-Appeal (much Sex-Appeal). Little Richard (this is out - he left rock 'n' roll in early 1957 to record gospel songs, saying "rock 'n' roll is devil's music"). Chuck Berry (this is out, too, because all the singers who recorded his songs did it better than him). And, finally, Bill Haley. Bill Haley - before Elvis Presley to arrive to the scene - was "the king of rock 'n' roll". After Elvis Presley, Bill Haley is the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" because from the "hillbilly boogie" he made "rockabilly".
