wonder if that is like how it went with the Walmart warehouse fires in the US. The fire outpaced their supression system cause the lower racks were able to burn long enough to spread the sprinkler activation too thin and run out of water faster then if it was concentrating the water still on the original ignition area. They would have long continuous racks.

Thank you. the problem is very serious. fires at OZON warehouses in Russia and Walmart in America confirm this.

While it is anticipated that the fire service can manage warehouse fires within certain reasonable limits, the boundaries of the reasonable limits need to be understood. For those warehouses that fall outside of reasonable limits, there is a need for imaginative solutions to not just control, but also extinguish fires in those structures without human intervention.

I remember Data Sheet 8-9 that had flowcharts that referred to flowcharts that referred to other flowcharts. I thought they should have developed apps to handle that for you. I also remember a training class on the major revision to 8-9 roughly ten years ago where they admitted there was a fair amount of guesstimate involved in the old standard. I'm not sure which was worse, DS 8-9 or the windstorm crap. I'm just so glad I'm retired and don't have to care about it anymore.
