Ok so we are doing an esc & motor swap. Stall out at almost $200. Come on FMS get in the game. Hopefully Axial makes a 6x6 mini eventually.

I agree, it is underpowered as is. I just replaced the esc on mine with the new blue $25 scx24 esc and it made a big improvement. I installed it under the hood and relocated the battery to the bed.

Worth noting that they actually downgraded the motor compared to the atlas . The atlas got a 100turn high torque motor and was lighter with the lexan body the cheyenne box lists the motor as 55turn with same gearbox reduction as the atlas . So more weight and less torque.

WOW! It did much better then I thought. That’s one thing you learn about RC’s there like people each one is different in its own way. Even if it’s the same type they can be way different. I’m lucky enough to have a good amount of nice RC’s & today was a reminder for me how different each is. I took the Windigo out for some fun after it has just sat because I have the Fireteam , Losi Lasernut & Senton. But man was it not only different it was fun in its own way. It felt oldschool compared to the others. It’s so cool to be able to run different RC’s & compare. Thanks the little guy did good & I’m sure if upgraded could be even better. It’s a good looking truck for sure.

This with a furitek trans and motor would be awesome! They have a kit for the atlas 6x6 that just might work on the Cheyenne!?

Ok I got a question I got a 1.8 rango laegendary from Amazon for 349. And now I want to do some upgrades to it what would you prefer? It has a 550 motor
