I don't even care about crawlers (minis are neat), but I had to watch this video. You just do such an awesome job with your video content, and I love how you show what it takes to get into/repair the cars you review.

I agree. It definitely has a lot of similar features and it's hard to make a crawler without some common characteristics but this is definitely its own truck

ive always thought a traxxas was overpriced in the 2023-2024 market but that could just be the UK market.

I think quite a few Traxxas cars in the US are fairly priced, with a few just slightly over priced and a few others quite a bit so. Specifically I think the Rustler/Slash/Stampede 4x4 vxl line and below are a good value, the Maxx I think should be max $549, the Sledge is easily $100 too high. I have seen some listings for Traxxas in the UK and I doubt I would buy one if I lived in any European country.

@@FlailinMonkey yes UK pricing on all Brands are ABIT silly, traxxas takes the cake though for the pricing. It is unfortunate but it won't stop me from buying 1 or 2 of the cars I want lol.

@DoRC it still takes more commitment to spend the money for traxxas in the EU. At least 10% up to 30% more expensive depending on where in the EU you live and on the model

@@AsurasWrath164 yes, I can tell you the bronco he has was £665 in my local hobby shop for over a year. It eventually got discounted to £600 but it's still alot.

Your the best for disassembled, this truck are better than the trx-4 for sure but I will buy the redcat ascent brushless before this one just because he have brush motor.

The new Ascent brushless is good though at least in my experience brushed motors on crawlers really aren't much of a problem. They've got pretty smooth startup and you don't need crazy power on a crawler

Luv my fms k5 . Had to play with the end points on the servos. Keep popping out of 4x4. An ended striping screws in front portals. When I was trying add grease. Debating on doing the rwd mod. Did the signal light delete mod.

Good looking truck. I've got a couple trail trucks already so this probably won't be coming into the stable but it looks like a good option for someone looking to be some money and get into trail trucks.

I love the orange version of this truck. If i was more into crawling and didn't have a TRX6 G63 already I'd definitely grab this one. Anyone wanna trade a barely used Traxxas for one of these in orange? I'd seriously trade straight up even tho the TRX6 cost nearly twice as much. With this out and having a Vigilante i might be rid of my Xmaxx and TRX6 and be completely out of the Traxxas hustle.

Yeah there are a lot of fun. Being able to change all the different settings on it on the fly makes for a pretty dynamic driving experience

Traxxas bashers are overpriced for what you get, but I’ve always found the TRX4 line to be a good value. The TRX4 Sport is a really nice basic crawler for $369, and the full featured TRX4s, at $499 are comparable to the full featured models from Axial and Element. In my experience, TRX4s have some of the best shocks, axles, and transmissions in the business. Some of the Traxxas hate I’m reading here is justified, but their TRX4 lineup is solid and worth considering. The High Trails are overpriced, though.

Yeah I think the TRX4 trucks are definitely reasonably priced. You do get more for your money with these though

When comparing to Traxxas original, any "clone" is better than the original. It's "cheap" because Traxxas is overpriced.

I never will buy a traxxas these is the most rip off company ever how is an x maxx worth 1000 when its got 275quid worth electric s at most 50 tyres 50 body and rest is all plastic. Arrma is by far better value and team associated seriously you rc people wake up an stop buying Rip off s from traxxas.Come on Arrma an team associated offer us a plastic 1 5 truck for 750 quid

@DoRC Atleast with an Arrma exb your getting 7075 premium parts with X maxx it's very wierd parts are cheap might be cheaper buying the parts and building it up

@owen8538 I've done the math before and it isn't cheaper. The x platform does have a lot of plastic but that doesn't necessarily make it inferior. Modern plastics are very very good and it's also important to keep in mind that whereas each individual plastic part costs very little to make the initial investment in creating the injection molds is pretty high.

well like all china products , show me the traxas plant??? location etc. like many other brands ,,, they make nothing just a name and contracted through a co to make them. lol if you only new the truth

I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to but I know that Traxxas is not made in the United States. That being said they are made in Taiwan and not in China. At least all of their products say made in Taiwan. I suppose they could be lying though. I'm also aware that most of these companies use OEMs to make their products. I'm not sure who the OEM for Traxxas is but I'm sure there is no plant in Taiwan with a big Traxxas logo on it :-)
