It’s about time someone mentioned the big weakness of this truck, plastic diffs , plastic this and that , the drivetrain that is ,…………. Cost another $50 us for metal diffs plus metal drive shafts …. So instead of trying to sell the truck …………..you know where iam getting at😉

Yeah, I wanted this as soon as I saw it. Looks so awesome! I love my Chevy K 10 crawler. It looks like it would only be 2nd to the Redcat MT10e as my favorite Skate Park rig.

@williamperri3437 Bill this shocked the hell out of me. I was expecting this to just putt around, struggle to get some air maybe break on a hard landing. Far from it.

That's a great truck for the collection. It's time to pick up a few of the 18th 24th scale bashers. Perfect way to introduce this new RC from FMS.💯💯💯💯

it's looks just a slight tad too big in measurement to be really classed as a 24 scaler 🤣 , it's more like 18-20 scale 🤣 . it's definitely a bit bigger than the carisma 24 scale off road truck 🤣 .

Do you believe or would you try to fit the trans and motor into the smasher?

@ianjohnhorwood2605 FMS 24th scales have recently been more like 18th scales at least in the crawler world but when you put this up next to an 18th scale basher you can really tell how much smaller it is. I was going to do that in the video but was trying to keep in strictly FMS. I'll put something in the community chat.

@The_RC_Guru I like where your mind is going. I will say the Max Smasher is plenty fast once you put the optional motor. Not sure that big block will fit. I'll have to see.

after about 30 minutes of regular use (no jumps or anything just circles in the yard, my front differential appears to have worn down to the point where it won't catch a new cup. off course i order from amazon so FMS won't do anything other than say "replace the diff" which is a $20 part. and they charge $15 for shipping. I loved the truck when it was driving. but 30 minutes of use breakdown like that is obviously manufacturer defect, who basically told me to kick rocks. maybe if i had ordered direct from them it would be a better experience

@zacharystewart3308 That's crazy, Mine, still going strong. I even drove it harder for the next vid. If it's within the 30 days, Amazon takes everything back even after use.

Probably could try. But I tried to replace the diff myself and exploding diagrams aren’t my thing. Fixed my issue but lost steering and ended up with 2 springs not in the diagram on the table. Lost the two different gears. At $150 I just broke down and bought another direct from FMS. So now I got a full parts car that I guess could be a little drag racer

Yes. They’re oil filled shocks and the diff is metal. The casing for it is plastic

Yowza, this is awesome! I still haven’t picked up the monster truck yet!😜 If you only had funds to purchase one, which would you get, the MT or this? Fantastic review by the way!

@BangForYourBuckRc Thanks you! Man, this can take a beating! Plus no hard body, I would go with this. The other thing, I wouldn't bash the Smasher on a hard surface like this but this one I have no reservation.
