There's more to love from FMS Models with this Jimny. I've already reviewed the well made FireHorse at RocHobby, and this has tons of similiarities..GREAT radio system, LOADS of details and GOBS of RC trucking features to make this maybe the best RC Model of all time. It's going to be hard to top this one...

Thanks for the review. I wasn't going to get one of these because of the small scale... but it is so scale and well done, I may have to get one.

Honestly the size seemed weird to me. But.. Keep in mind that this is a VERY TINY truck in the real world, so thanks to it's 1/12 ACTUAL scale, it rides on the same trails as larger 1/18 trucks, and small 1/10 trucks. So, it's really a simple truck to use. It's not tiny. I thought it would be kinda too small, but it isn't really. And the features make you fall in love with it all over again.

The slow speed start up is very impressive IMO for sticker I won’t change a thing on mine. Just got mine in today tower hobbies $100!!!!

Great review. I have the Willy’s and the kubelwagen. So many features loaded into these trucks. Absolute blast to take out on the trail. Might have to add this to the collection. Looking forward to see what you do with this tiny truck 👍🏻🙂

So I have the fms fj cruiser love it it’s detailed les than this but not slouch. So I took the wheels and tires off which are a beadlock and they have a scale replica tire of a Goodyear mtr’s. I put those on my deadbolt 24 Wow way better. Then put on the deadbolt 24 awful nittos onto The fj and they perform great. The fj is considerably heavier. What I’m getting at is the fj cruiser stock wheel and tire may fit onto that jimmy giving it a offset and larger tire mod for sure. Maybe fender well trim idk great explication on this product.

I have the little Kyosho 1/24 Jimny. It's cute but it's 100% worthless as an off-road vehicle. It wasn't worth $200. For $250, THIS thing is a deal... except I wouldn't want to mod it at all.. it's too pretty and well done.

Great comment! Yeah, some of the 'scale' 1/24 sizes are just so small. They are couch drivers. There's a ton of truck to be had here in this 12th scale unit.

Biggest problems with fms is that everything is so scale that you can't really mod them to perform better. The building part is already done so kills it for the people that enjoy building

Interesting thought. I hear what you're saying. Like an Axial basecamp is a 'platform' to build from.. and create something else. These are for sure as realistic as you can imagine. But what happens to a jimny in the full size offroad world? MODS. Yes. There's no reason why you can't build new bumpers, or expedition parts, or suspension lift or many other ideas on this truck. (hint hint)

@@GCMRacing1 I agree but is there many companies making parts for them? Not really. Not everyone can build their aftermarket parts. Most people have to buy the aftermarket parts and then put them on

The brake light turns on with the lights? Why?

You can turn off that mode on the TX. There's tons of light modes. And there's separate turn signals and stop lights and park lamps.

Your buzzing bugs sound like a swarm of revolvers 😝😝😝. I’m not annoyed found it funny. I’m in Az so our hot months same here idk think area are locust 🤷‍♂️
