Hi Lou I like that you painted the roof , I don't care for White wheels with the white roof white wheels look the best ... I'm going to follow suit and paint my roof also ... I do own a air brush set up so Ill use that ... your FJ40 looks Great Congrats Jim ... new sub

Hey Jim thanks for the visit and feedback, If you paint the white grill as I did, be very careful some of the back tabs are hard to take off and break easily. I actually bought this truck to make it a military FJ40. They were used allot for military purposes. I live in Arizona and so I in summer do bench work and in winter do all my RC driving. So next summer I will tare it down and make it military truck. I have to do more homework and look at allot of pictures. 🙏✝️☮️ Take care thanks

I agree. I love FMS especially this FJ40. For the money and what you are getting, this is way better than the RC4WD. In fact, FMS became my favorite R/C brand.

Great looking FJ! I drive the RC4WD G2 Cruiser! I’m all in on FJs! Looks and fun value count! Here in the PNW I keep windows in because it’s wet!

Well said, you get a lot for the money. I don’t see any other companies giving a nice carrying case with their R/C. Truck comes with adequate tires and shocks , not great but enough to get you running. Some people won’t be running this truck very hard, myself included. It makes a great display truck , but if you wanted you could modify to be quite capable. Point is, when they sell the truck at a lower price point , it gives the customer options. Great video 👍

Amen brother, I love my FMS Trucks, except for the little ones, 1/24 & 1/18 is hard for me to work at 64 man hands are a little shaky 😀 I am going to change the ESC and motor to the hobby wing fusion combo. Cause I like to make videos and it's a easier and smoother ride. But with all the extra money I saved over Traxxas and Axial it's no problem 😀🙏☮️✝️and thanks so much for the visit

Man that thing is so coool. Nice shock mod. Tires def look great Wow the doors opening and all the details on that thing it’s insane just such nice quality! Love the grey top. I’d need a winch. It would look nice with good winch

Perfect figure size is 10inch/25cm ... the FJ40, like the Mashigan, is 1/7th scale. 8in fits as long as you don't mind having a truck with a floating kid hangin' at the steering wheel of dad's truck ...

Thanks so much for the visit and comment It's been a rule of mine also all crawlers should have a driver, but I too put dogs in ally rigs unless it's a basher or or some crazy vehicle. I try to make my crawlers the way my real trucks are.🙏✝️☮️checked out your channel would love to follow and see some of your rigs

Heya man. Those are some super tips dude. It gives me a very good idea as to what to buy. I think the 9 inch is good size. But the 10 inch will be too big.. the action figures are sort of like roman statues. Something is always out of proportions.. esrs..head..neck..arms length. Same thing for action figures IMO. Barbie dolls still got big heads😂. Have you tried aliexpress for action figures? Haaa haa to arizona. I also noticed ur rc jeep has no windshield wipers😊

Yeah I did minor calculations and I agree, either way I just did a new video a few days ago and I have redone the whole truck I took the character yesterday and made him a 10 inch figure looks great. If you are looking for a suitable figure look for the HM Armed Forces figures. They are 10" tall and they are about 1/7.5 scale. I don't own an FJ at the moment but from what people have said the HM Armed Forces Figures would seem to be about the right size. You might have to alter some 1/6 clothing if you want a civilian figure sat in the car but that isn't difficult. The HM Armed Forces figures are quite cheap, i would imagine under $10 each but then you will have shipping on top.

Thanks so very much for visiting, a.co/d/1FVbxvF These are the shocks I currently have on my truck. They are 5mm longer and are fine for a trail truck. Also they don’t have allot of shock travel. But are awesome quality and again work great for a trail truck.✝️☮️🙏🏽😎
