I went to their website to see if this was seriously a "new" band, and they are a year old according to their site. If this is what a band sounds and looks like after only ONE year of existence, I think something really big is about to go down at FMU. I didn't go to school there, but this band has gone into my "must watch list." Stay encouraged, you all are doing something wonderful. You have a new fan!

At least she started them out with a great foundation. I’m sorry she’s gone, was looking forward to what they would accomplish. I thought she could do a “told ya so” to her haters.

🧐I don't know how true, but the word is Janae being out stems from her picking a new captain over the old one whose family was close with administration (band director). The old captain claimed hazing might have been going on out of spite. I say take this with a grain of salt.

@@LusciousL9013 I read it on several KZfaq threads for this game and a couple of comments on Instagram. Janae just posted the FMU Summer Band Camp on Instagram on July 17th or July 18th plus she promoted FMU Lionessence tryouts so the whole thing is just weird to me. However, I am quite sure we will know when Janae makes a move for herself.

@@LusciousL9013 Absolutely! Janae did the work. FMU used her celebrity, her image and reputation as the 2019-2020 ASU Sensational Stingettes Captain which got a lot of people excited.

They really need them to put Janae back on payroll. The lioness look absolutely AMAZING and its all because of her. Idc if the captain's family has connects. That captain couldn't not have done what Janae has did for this team in one year NOR WOULD WE BE PAYING ATTENTION TO THEM IF IT WASN'T FOR JANAE!!!!

Exactly! Everyone knows Janae's work and right now they look pathetic for dismissing her but still using her creativity. What could have happened that she was still Director up to mid July and then quickly dismissed after she built FMU Lionessence from absolutely nothing. Janae's image is still all over their Facebook page too. They used her image, celebrity and reputation to attract people to the team.

UPDATED: My original comment that many of the band-member team looked very casual and/or unenthusiastic during the ‘March In,’ could possibly be attributed to a statement in the threads about Ms, Janae Harrington. If true, I can understand. I’ll purpose to acknowledge the positive things, as many of you have done. I have since watched the game videos and the LionEssence team slayed and represented Ms. Harrington and FMU well. I was very impressed.

Yeah well, Janae is no longer Director of Lionessence she built from nothing to what we witnessed with Counts that are Pure Janae. It is a damn shame! Without Janae Hurricane Harrington Lionessence won't get any better than what they are right now. Already two of the girls looked like they couldn't keep up during their Field Show.
