2 attempts and this build is finally done! im so glad i decided to rebuild this after seeing the slanted retention plate. so note to self. when doing super thick on one side mold, add an extra layer of foam on that side. now im happy with this set so now i know the customer will be.

That's my rig - right down to the Qfork which is about the best 12 buck you can spend. Love me some black Multicam too! Did not realize you Dsub print it. Guess that gives you the flexibility to choose the base kydex color or texture. Very kewl. Ever get into fabric overlays? Always though that would be a good call for the inside - protect the guns finish from holster rubb. Hmmm... Do I really need anudderwon?

Lining inside holsters with nylon, Cordura, etc. can actually wear your finish even faster than the Dex can. Also, any lint, sand, or other debris that gets inside is nearly impossible to get out. Thus, a sandpaper effect happens. Exterior lining is easy and looks amazing. Iggy has some other videos about doing those.

Have you done a Tisas PX-9 yet? It's pretty close to impossible to find a holster for them, kinda like when Canik's first came out.

I have not. I know the tisas 1911 clone fits 1911 holsters. The px9 looks like a mix between a p80 and a cz

@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC it's nearly impossible to find a good holster for it. I'm absolutely in love with the gun but without a good holster it is just sitting in storage.

i built electronic weapon systems for the DOD. Like infrared, night vision, targeting systems, missile defense systems, stuff like that. I was a contractor for some big name companies. it was pretty cool.
