The FNAF movie is the only time I've ever seen an entire movie theatre start shouting. Not just laughing or screaming, but a whole room of people genuinely pointing at the screen and going 'I know that thing!'. It was so wonderful to realise that everyone around me also knew who Matpat was, what Sparky's was a reference to, what 'I always come back' meant. Made me feel like a part of the community rather than the nerdy freak.

@welovewarner I got lucky with my first time, since loads were dressed up, including a guy with a really good Springtrap costume and one guy with a Foxy costume! It was great finding out there was so many FNAF fans watching it with me! So much so I've gone back seven times lol (luckily I've got an unlimited cinema card).

9:12 for context, this was a Tiktok that went viral a bit ago from a few different angles in the cinema. Basically the movie wasn’t working (I assume projector issues) so they weren’t able to watch the movie. Someone had brought a Markiplier cutout as a joke to watch the movie with them and they did this when they found out they wouldn’t be seeing the movie that night. Basically the joke is “the FNAF movie is broken but at least Markiplier is here.”

@@maximilianovelozoloyola3021 you gotta remember in fnaf 3 the suit was already old and withered. the one here is too but not as much. the water from the roof was making the suit wet for a while and the whole environment is just bad for the suit. when the location was still running, william and henry were in those suits performing for years and nothing ever happened to them. so in fnaf 3 it happened so easilly because the suit was already on edge. here it happened because the cupcake basically directly attacked the springlocks

It’s fine if you don’t like that, but I personally was pleasantly surprised when they did their own thing instead of copy/pasting the FNaF games wiki into their script or something. It wasn’t completely detached, and they had a lot of cool references to things like the books, but the movies were their own story, just like the books.

It warms my heart so much how KZfaqrs were included in this through cameos & Easter eggs. It's one of the big reasons I wanted to see the movie. I saw the movie today with my adult son. I went to theaters with my brother to see this movie on Halloween night! There was a small group of people in there with us but it was a blast! Like the guy in 15:13, my brother couldn't resist in going "Har har har!" at least one or two times during the movie. The people in there with us started laughing at it too lol! A couple below us, the guy went "har har har" and his gf was trying to be mad but she ended up laughing with him 💀 I thought it was funny

I have a theory about Chica and Carl the Cupcake: Theory: Carl the Cupcake is Susie’s Dog. Bear in mind (no pun intended), but I think this might be possible. Matpat originally theorized that the blond kid in the trailer possess the cupcake, but in the movie, the blond kid is inside Golden Freddy. So if no one is possessing Cupcake, what’s causing it to roam free off of Chica’s plate, and seems to have a mind of its own? If we recall to Fruity Maze, the girl playing it is meant to be Susie, the girl who possess Chica. She was lured by William, because her dog sadly died. She was then stuffed into Chica, and we know Chica was the first. In the cute video that shows Chica being happy that Carl was being given to her, she rubs the head of Carl, like how you pet a dog (even one of the staff mentions Carl as Chica’s buddy, which is what people can nickname their pet) and there are moments where Chica sends Carl out to do something , kind of like how you send a dog to do a task. Carl even bites people, like how a dog would. Obviously this is a big stretch, but I think it’s worth mentioning. As for the cute moment where Chica rubs Carls head, could just be a coincidence, but given Carls nature is more animal than the others, it could be worth mentioning.

This movie was absolutely amazing for the fans, it's just a shame that the critics are slamming it because they feel that the 'story is super complicated' and that there are 'too many easter eggs and cameos', when in reality it's exactly what the fans wanted, but don't feel you can't enjoy something just because someone else said its bad ❣🎤🍕🐻

Honestly, the movie was great. If you weren't a fan it was easy to put together what happened and essentially what the storyline was about just like any other fun horror movie. The critics that had no interest in FNAF were of course going to find it in their own perspective flawed. The reason there are questions left unanswered obviously, is the possibility to have more films made to happen and continue the story. There will always be dissenters for anything worthwhile and I think their just mad because the movie actually respected the fans and didn't cater to Hollywood nonsense. In addition, this was made PG for kids so there's that.

I don't think it was perfect but I also think you can't give a good review of the movie withouth aknowleging the target audience and the easter eggs. That was basically the purpose of it, saying it was bad just because of those elements is basically saying you did not understand the movie at all. I also think it could be influenced by people thinking the fandom is toxic (I mean, some people are but not all) and that the whole series is just pure cringe without even knowing what it is about, at least that's how the majority sees it in my country

Honestly, thank you so much for explaining the scene with Bonnie, Freddy, and Mike sneaking into the location, when I first watched it in the back of my head I was like "wtf are the 2 stooges Bonnie and Freddy doing jerking around like that? Are they like malfunctioning or something?" But what you said about Bonnie trying to point Mike out to Freddy and Freddy trying to figure out what Bonnie's doing makes so much more sense

I genuinely waited until I saw the film to watch all of these. It really made me so incredibly happy to watch it and see all the easter eggs and felt so proud to be a fan and part of this community. I 100% think the film was cast perfectly and I will be rewatching as many times as I can

I got to watch the movie on the opening night where I live (it was on the 26th) and I think I had a perfectly balanced audience experience. For one the entire theatre was booked out. We only managed to get the front row seats because everything else was full. There were a few cospalyers as well. (sadly no one brought Mark with them) But as for the entire experience it was really nice. The audience stayed quiet for most of the part and we only reacted to really important things or key moments. Like we all freaked out when MatPat showed up. Or when Balloon Boy was there. We all gasped at the reveal of Vanessa being William's daughter. And some (me included) sang through the entire song at the end credits. Overall it was an amazing experience for me and I'll probably never get something like this with any other movie ever again. That is until the sequel comes out of course. So excited to see where this story is going and what is going to happen next.
