I’m more than thrilled with how the springlock failure scene was done in the movie, and I know that a portion of the fans didn’t like how it was done, but in my opinion, it’s want done bad, not at all, it was just done differently. It honestly felt more true to what we’d see from a character as cunning and twisted as William Afton. Like, the way he was trying not to scream or make abrupt movements to try and avoid tripping the other springlocks, but also he probably couldn’t scream if he wanted to since his lungs would be severed and drowning in his own blood. Aside from those reasons though, it’s also like he didn’t want to give the children’s’ souls the satisfaction of getting to see how much pain he’s in, which is something that fits Afton’s behavior and mindset so so well. But if they did go for the more brutal and aggressive death approach that a lot of fans wanted, I’m certain this is how they’d want it to be like! 👍❣️🎤🍕

Well 1. He has such a big ego he doesn't want to give the kids any semblance of satisfaction by showing fear and pain 2. Like Sir Christopher Lee said in the Behind the scenes for Return of the King, when you are stabbed (at least, that's how the movie's springlocks seem to work), you mostly tend to gasp because the air is rapidly forced out

I actually thought of a new concept for this scene in the movie that might even be more accurate with the games. Well, after the spotlights focused on William, it would start to thunder and rain lightly, he would get desperate and try to take off his clothes in a clumsy way, even tearing off a piece of his costume's chest (to replace Mr Cupcake doing this) then the rain would get heavier and he would put on the mask and then (to give him a little more screen time) golden freddy would appear and stare at him while the animatronics' red eyes would turn black (like in the games) and they would all let out roars very similar to those that freddy gives in the original film mixed with golden freddy's jumpscare. While the intense rain would start destroying the pizzeria golden freddy would grab springbonnie by the ears while freddy and foxy would grab him by the shoulders (like in the movie) and start to delay him while mike, abby and vanessa get out of the building, and at the end of the scene while William screamed in pain, Golden Freddy would throw him into the puppet's gift box and the boy who possessed him would close the box and the pizzeria sign would fall, leaving the building completely in ruins and inaccessible. Bonus: at the ending scene where william points at the little boy on my concept would show the gift box laying on the ground open ehile springbonnie would be also on the ground trying to point at the kids (who would have the black eyes) that would start to go into the darkness while a very weak and failing music box would play. Fell free to use it if you want just please guve the credits and let me know your opinion of this version of the scene.

In reality, blood wouldn’t be just spurting everywhere, His jumpsuit is soaking in all of it. And also that’s just not how puncture wounds work- And while yes, William would be going through A LOT of pain, I’m pretty sure he’s just thugging it out. Doesn’t want to seem weak.

Unpopular opinion probably, but I like how they did it in the movie. It could've been quite better - like this probably - but it's not bad. Afton has canonically dealt with smaller springlock failures before, so he likely wouldn't scream all that much. He already has a bit of a tolerance for it, and it adds to the fact that he willingly put the mask on.

The movie as well as its audio is actually most accurate, as the springlocks would immediatley puncture your lungs. Which is why in the movie afton says "I always come back" so quick and quietly. He is quite literally on his last breath.

My guy all the springlocks do not fail all at once. If you check the audio vid, he stops screaming at 0:50 in that video. At the end of the movie, you can still hear his groaning/moaning. Plus, he still managed to say “I always come back” while being springlocked.

Stuffed is because while your being stuffed your bones are breaking cause the animatronics are forcefully stuffing you without removing any part of the suit just sliding you in there and then you get springlocked after your bones are broke making it more painful the only painful thing that springlocking has that stuffing doesn’t is animatronic eyes that replace your real eyes
