Man idk what it is but hearing this all distorted makes me kind of emotional, hearing this song beautifully playing throughout the pizza plex in the base game and then hearing this..i don’t think steel wool realized they accidentally made something amazing out of the base game being all bright and stuff

literally... the atmosphere in ruin is SO on point just by virtue of the place being a broken and distorted version of somewhere that's familiar and perhaps comforting to us. like an abandoned building is a creepy enough setting for a horror game, but the ante is upped tenfold when you remember what the place used to be like. it's so goddamn haunting and the music, more than anything else, seems to act as a brutal reminder of just how much this place must have meant to people in the fnaf universe. and what it's come to mean to us after only a year and a half. i don't know it's just 😭tbh i don't think the setting of ruin could have worked as a game on its own without the context of security breach behind it, just because of the effect our emotional attachment to the pizzaplex has on it... and security breach, in turn, almost feels like it could have been made just to serve as a setup for ruin. it offers up a bright and kid-friendly atmosphere that doesn't work as a horror game much at all, acclimating us to a safe atmosphere, only to juxtapose it with the decrepitness of ruin later; and i think just the difference in music between the two does a very good job of hammering that in. ...sorry i hope you don't mind my rambling out of nowhere haha, it just. really got me thinking

Won't lie, i am pretty emotional hearing the theme like this. It felt like just yesterday i first heard the rockstar row themed and fell asleep to it around the same year the game released, rockstar row was indeed a cozy location.

It's so bizarre and sad. It's sad to think of the beautiful glamrock members being horribly shattered. In the DLC coming out today, I hope there will be an ending where all the members are rescued and each other is saved. 🥺🥺

Hopefully, although there is a possibility, let's remember that this is barely the first dlc, the other endings are missing

@@proyectosfpsmarker7113 Will there be another DLC coming out?? I just watched the live broadcast of Ruin, and I feel so sorry for roxy. I came back to roxy's spirit, which was fine again, and it's so kind... and beautiful. But it ended so vaguely, did roxy live or did he die... I don't know the ending...
