Fools will say they were lucky but the truth is that they are the best western team of all times and that's doubtless. I just hope they don't divide. This team's got an unbelievable synergy. Season 9 is bringing us a big surprise

@@fullmetalraven973 I agree that they got lucky draws but they showed in the groupstage that they could not just win, but dominate matches, and they showed us this season to be the strongest western team lol has ever seen. Coming into these worlds noone would say fnatic would be on the finals, specially with how RNG dominated every single tournament they participated in, and how kt rolster was looking, so I think they did defy expectations, but so did c9 and g2, an amazing worlds run for the western teams, which is something we don't see that often.

Probably the best opportunity ever for EU to win worlds since fnatic were actually 2/1 against IG going into that final but completely choked it with messy communication and a lot of stress

@@natetechr Was a group effort. Bwipo playing too far forward without vision, Broxah playing stale, Hyli too late on the mid roams to stop the IG tent in midlane, & rekkless (& probably by extension their coach) drafting really crap counter picks into the matchups

Hopefully they'll get a tough bracket, to really see if they can challenge teams. They played against 3rd seed EDG and 3rd seed C9, of course they're gonna go through. I wanna see them defeat IG, RNG, and KT

To be honest Fnatic did good in the group stage they even play against IG before and beat them there. people surprise what happened in finals coz they suddenly play it like bronze especially Bwipo and caps they forgot the meaning of playsafe and play it aggressively IG jungler camp them but they still play aggressive and didn't freeze their lanes so bronze like.

zero zephyrum IG only lost in group because they chose not to be aggressive, respecting Korean playstyle. They saw Koreans get destroyed, and went back to original agro style, obliterating semi-final/final.

Stupid AP Gragas. It’s a cheating way to win. He should be squishy and easy to kill. And Syndra, she has an ultimate that can just one-shot anyone! That’s a stupid gameplay design! Her stun deals way too much damage and her stupid AP ratios are unfair and unbalanced! I hope Rookie dies in hell that stupid cheating Korean.

@@lun2414 Actually...its like Fnatic did not even try to play how they played in groups. They should put that into advantage. They are also kinda the problem. Its not only about IG changing playstyles but its the fact that Fnatic did not play aggresive that much. I actually did not watch finals cause I was bummed and I am still not watching it to this day but that's just my guess, that they did not play aggresively. Take note that Cloud 9 vs RNG tiebreaker...this finals could have been that game. I know Fnatic can match up with IG but they just didn't do it.

If you look pay attention to Broxah (Lee Sin) from 33:20 (the finals) You can see how bad he is doing the first 2 games. Just runs around looking lost in fights, don’t know when to go in or not. Idk he just looked very amateurish...

Its a Great Storyline for the whole League of Legends World. Lets not forget that China hast the biggest Fanbase and the biggest Tragedy all years long. Every year they got Hyped and in the end have suffered bitter defeats by the korean overlords. Its only healthy for the competetive scene when the biggest Server finally brings the Trophy home. And Eu/NA and the others are on the Hunt. They smelled blood. I mean 3 out of 4 Teams in Semis were Western teams... I´m sooo fucking Hyped for the next Worlds already!

Biggest mistake that they played with BWIPO on top they shoulda swap the meta like they did in LCS . Bwipo on bot with supp and soaz top. That way they coulda win it.

Almost won worlds like RNG(SHRC or just RC back then) almost won in season 3? By not even being he second best team at worlds?. Getting to final doesn't mean you are second best, RNG wouldn't have beat najin and skt beating najin means they already won world cos no one else had a chance to win and now FNC wouldn't beat KT, KT vs IG was the real finals, every other team had no chance to win.(I would say RNG had a chance this worlds but the evidence show they didn't, they were too weak and would lose badly to IG or KT too if they beat g2.

I think he means almost since it's the first time a western team got to finals after the LCS was created, of course the final was a stomp but from what fanatic showed against ig on the group stage everyone knew they definitely had a chance, it wasn't a final where an undefeated team destroys a random underdog that got an upset on the knockout stages, they were the favourites after quarters and were amongst top 4 after groupstage, it will always be on the back of my mind what kind of epic series we could have had if fnatic faced the games in a different way.
