It's actually amazing to me how they had to play five days in a row, were down the first two maps, had one sick member who couldn't even comm properly and they still manage to come back and take all three maps against emea's most dominant team atm. Fnatic is just an exceptional team and steps up when it matters the most.

FOR THE BELIEVERS! FNC are the reverse-sweep gods at this point. Their mental is incredible. After I saw that TH lost map 3 I was sure its gonna be a reverse sweep, FNC are just the more experienced team and that really helps in such scenarios with their mental, same as SEN vs GEN G masters finals. LFG FNC!!!

The Heretics should have shut down Lotus. They definitely started to choke from this moment on due to inexperience. If they had been more disciplined they would have won 3-0. But congrats to FNATIC! I'm so happy to see the King back and strong.

@@user-th2cp8uh8r Never forget, Finals against FPX on breeze, and they pick astra, fade, and NEON. They are well known for this. They only recently played the “meta” comp on ascent too. They used to run Reyna and Harbor, which no other tier 1 team does.

they could have lost track of time or just knew they couldn't go in the site (given that the time was low) cos the site was stacked (?) or perhaps they thought it was stacked. or maybe some behind-the-scenes happened or Leo was kinda feeling sick by then, that's why they thought of doing a tech pause? who knows?

Heretic had to close out the game on map 3. As soon as the game went on map 5, it was already GG for them. Their performance on map 1 & 2 was excellent but as Fnatic got some momentum on map 3, Heretic lost their composure and had no answer for it. Their inexperience had a lot do do with it. Fnatic relies a lot on their momentum and emotions. It has both good and bad sides. Booster can't even hit his shots if they are having some hard times. But they do look promising now.
