That's how i feel and think of Rewrite like he's an actual demon possessing the body of a very popular character (being Sonic) and that he will try to lure people by thinking he's a nice guy and then he ends up killing without hesitation, takes their souls and then reincarnate them by using those red rings but also trapping them into the rings because he plans to use them for later purposes.
