this honestly makes more sense and could actually happen in a sonic game. If you drown you respawn, but if you are stuck there's n o way to go out (unless its quitting the game or without time being left) just like THAT pit on the caves of sonic 2 if you were transformed as super sonic

This would probably be a better way to go, as the bubble sinks, the water pressure will continue to rise, eventually the bubble won't hold anymore and will pop, leaving the water pressure to crush you almost instantly

Animations could use some polish, especially on background Sonic, who looks really out of place, the background needs some polish too to prevent that jittery feel, maybe it needs more frames? All in all, it’s a good start, and I can’t wait to see it improve

in theory this is more tame then the official version, sure hes trapped underwater, but once the bubble breaks he will eventually climb back up. probably going to experience the pain of drowning a few times, but he will eventually get back to life. unless he somehow doesn't break the bubble, in which case he could in theory become weak to the point of being unable to break it. but eventually it will pop and after sonic gets some torturous rest he will eventually regain enough strength to swim back up. actually that would be an interesting creepypasta. sonic forced to face drowning so much he loses his mind and the only thing left in his brain is "why didn't they save me...?" so now an immortal zombified sonic is out to search for his friends to drown them out of a deranged instinct. not actual malice.

i mean its not as cruel as original after all in the game that bubble makes you be able to make you breath forever untill it pops but it still pretty painful to wait in the bubble untill you die of eighter starvation or drown when the bubble pops or on slightest chance get saved by one of his friends or in 1 percent chance end up in a place where he can escape thru maybe some kind of dr eggman's safe zone incase he acidently goes into that bubble himself

hi it's me fizzy the nerd air bubbles can run out of oxygen in a small amount of time depending on how much is sucked out of it, so sonic isn't even breathing in the air bubble he's in, smart considering he won't be able to get any more oxygen anywhere else unless there's a crack in the floor (wherever the floor may be) class dismissed
