It’s not heartache, it’s the heartache of loving someone with whom you have a violent love. That ain’t any ordinary love. It’s toxic, it’s lethal. It’s what opera is made. Eventually the choice is either the train, or the bus, or murder. And it hurts like hell to choose the bus or the train, because you want to be in that bubble of love bombing forever…. And dying together seems romantic. But it’s an illusion… it’s narcissus and the echo. He is narcissus, she is echo.

The use of the gold and blue color to signify warmth and depression. Masterclass. When he's listening to the Foals, they are blue and the whole bar is golden. The protagonist is drenched in both the colors. As if there is a private struggle going on in his heart. As soon as he imagines the woman on the stairs completely drenched in blue, he gives in to the depression

Give me something I haven't seen Give me the red light turning green Give me the words but not the page Give me it all Give me the time but not an age Give me a look but not the rage Give me the feel for where I'll go Give me it all Give me the way it could have been Give me the ghost that's on the screen Give me the way but not the means Give me it all Give me something I haven't seen Give me the red light turning green Give me the words but not the page Give me it all I called you up 3 times last night Running through the streets Bloody, from a fist fight Keep you warm Keep you there Wanna keep you all See you there, wanna see you some day As you look back, I'm pulling away You caught the bus and I caught the train All that remains are words in the rain Ooooh, oooh, oooo-oooooh Ooooh, oooh, oooo-oooooh Give me the shade of a thunder cloud Give me a good-bye said out loud Give me the day with no memories Give me it all I know you could be here with me By the rain and the palm of the valley But you're there by the tube stop in the freezing rain See you there, wanna see you some day As you look back, I'm pulling away You caught the bus and I caught the train All that remains are words in the rain, rain Ooooh, oooh, oooo-oooooh Ooooh, oooh, oooo-oooooh So solo, I see you there You fall like a fifty weight The time goes I'll be right there I feel, I feel there's a fork in the road Oh-Woah-woah Oh-Woah-woah

Yeh, can relate. Who I thought was "the one" dumped me over my mental illness. I treated her like a queen but it wasn't enough. I was suffocated by rage, despair and became suicidal. Then I met a girl studying to be a psychologist. Was a random little thing...6 weeks later she is now my girlfriend. Sometimes a door closes, a road forks and at times things just have to happen the way they do. It's weird falling for one girl, while still feeling the hurt of another. I won't make the same mistakes.
