2 year old video but are you still using the Pro Aqua? More importantly, where did you buy that roller cart?

Have you done a PPM test before & after using this unit?

From my understanding and tests, water softener will only soften the water by exchanging the ions. From there you would still want a filter to lower the PPM. Pre water softener I was sitting around 400p and post about 320ppm but not when the water dries it’s not as bad. When you add a filter after softening dropped down to 22ppm

2000 gallons with a input TDS of ~100ppm

Di water is the one you need instead of soft water.

Doesn't the resin inside the tank also give you DI water? There is resin inside the Pro Aqua tank and I've seen a solar panel washer biz on KZfaq use this Pro Aqua and TDS meter reads 2.
