I love this pair of eagles. Sir Shadow is my favorite nest builder and maintainer. I have high hope for next year watching these two gorgeous bald eagles. I actually painted a portrait of Shadow sitting on the front porch.

Shadow is so faithful keeping the nest ready for a lot of sitting. I love him for always making sure the nest is safe.

The eagle pair on our small lake has had 19 eaglets over the years. I saw the fledgling today! It’s big and all dark just sitting perched outside the nest. I would never know what their lives are like if I hadn’t been following Jackie and shadow.
