Nice high end speaker setup. For those that don't want to spend $6K on a speaker system but still want an awesome system consider the RSL CG25 5.1.4 Atmos system for $3K as an alternative . Add a Speedwoofer 10S for another $400 and men you end up with a high end system under $4K. I have the RSL CG25 5.2.4 speaker setup and it rocks. I don't have a dedicated HT room and my family room opens up to the kitchen and part of the living room. This is a large room(Approx 5200 sq.ft) and the speaker system sounds awesome. I'm glad a went with RSL CG25 speaker system and didn't have to break the bank.

We now have the same speaker set up. Cool. Arias are great speakers. However, the CC900 center does not fully match his bigger brothers. It somewhat matches the Aria 906, but it's no cigar. I think it's the MTM config that causes uneven dispersion. I ended up selling the center and getting one extra pair of Aria 906. One is used as front center and the other as back center in a 6.2.4 config.

Those are pretty speakers. Like how you got right into it in this video. Your last video I watched about Amos problems you didn't get to the subject until halfway through. You got to get that ceiling light out of your shoot on your live stream my friend. Keep up the good work.

Congrats, Channa! You can’t go wrong with a full Focal setup (they are incredible). Welcome to the club! Have you considered the NAD T778 as you explore replacing your receiver? That’s what I have right now, and the surround processing is nothing like I’ve ever heard before. Channel information galore (so much info coming out of my height Dome Flaxes). It’s surgical accurate and jaw dropping (super crazy on the music front too). Easily outperforms many processors. Sounds crazy, but you really have to experience it to believe it!

Hey! Yeah, I couldn't get my hands on the T-778, but the LX505 has Dirac Live and I will be doing another manual calibration with the Marantz AV7706 and these Focal speakers. I can't wait! There are a few other things I need to do, but I should be able to get that pre/pro up and running in a couple of weeks.

Good setup! I run a full focal 9 channel system, but wanting to get my atmos paired with their in ceiling but definitely never thought about using their small speaker for over heads. Cool idea!

Yeah, the Focal Dome Flax uses the same driver materials found in the Aria line. I think also the 300 series in wall/in ceiling also use those drivers too. The Dome Flax are super versatile as you can change the angle super easy. Here’s my video on them - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d6uje9RomcWXe3k.html

Hey Techno Dad, you really have one of the best You Tube info channels around! I would really love to get your opinion on the best soundbars for Atmos/DTSX. Not necessarily the most expensive but a good all around sound bar ie Sonos Arc & Bose 900. I know LG has a few mid range coming out with a center up-firing speaker S90QY 5.1.3 and S80QY 3.1.3, which look really promising. Thank you!

I just got some On Wall 302. Focal claim they are pretty close to the Aria 900 series in terms of sound. What would be a good subwoofer to pair them up with? I only need to fill about 1500 cubic feet/ 180 square feet.

What's up been a long time. Crazy how my endeavor always somehow aligns with what you're doing. I'm ordering these but I'm pairing it for now with a mid range Yamaha. Do you think the will sound okay for the time being?? Also going to buy an integrated 2 channel amp for music playback have no idea what would pair well. Looking at the marabtz PM8006. Love to hear your opinions.

Hey Channa, I'm curious about your using bipole speakers for Dolby Atmos surrounds - everything I've read says you shouldn't do it as they remove any directionality of Atmos. How do you find them?

Great video! Been looking at the Focals and this helped me make the decision to move forward. You briefly referenced the Pioneer AVR. Are you giving up on it to move to Marantz?

Does focal have floor standing speakers in this line? At first I thought the price was steep but figured you got floor standing L/R speakers. Then saw the price was for 2 bookshelf speakers upfront and realized these are pricier than I thought. Not shopping now but one day would upgrade my Klipsch RP-280F but worry going from decent sized floor standing speakers to book shelf would feel like a downgrade in ways. Have Focals in my Mustang so know they are great speakers. What levels are you listening to these at during a movie DB wise?

Hi! I would go with a bookshelf or monopole as opposed to a bipole for front wide speakers.

Very nice setup TD. That should hold you for a while. But nothing holds us HT/audiophiles permanently, no matter what we say. Lol! Maybe I'm missing it. Love the Focal great video! I'm interested to know what crossover settings you're using on each of your Focals? I also run a full Focal setup with 936 fronts, CC900 centre, SR900 rears and 300 ICW8 atmos and have been tinkering with settings but still haven't fully decided what I like best so I thought it would be good to see what you're using to compare etc. I am driving them with my Yamaha RX-A3080 for the Atmos and I have a Rotel 1585 which is powering the 5 bedlayer speakers. These should be better than the Martin Logan electro statics. I love you man but I heard them and I wasn't that crazy about them. But audio is so objective though. I wish I could listen to Focals. They are supposed to be sweet. My system has improved so much since I swapped the Klipsch 10 inch sub with the 12 inch svs sealed sub. I did lose some loudness but I am getting deeper lows without the furniture rattling.

thanks for the video I have a question hope to find the answer with you, my external amplifier XPA 11 Gen3 having humming sound coming from SMPS also speakers there's humming sound I don't know if I use power conditioner this humming noise will disappear or not, I live in Egypt and or electricity 230v and I don't know a trusted brand for this issue, does the power conditioner solve this issue or not hope to reply me ASAP.

@@peteroussa that’s most likely where 90% of ur hum is coming from. I have Emotiva amps that I use balance on with the xmc2 and the hum is gone. Before that I had basx amps unbalanced and my speakers hummed

Hy Techno Dad, I have a room of 15ft x 11ft and I have a Denon avr-s950h and I have a center channel Klipsch Reference R-34C and have a subwoofer Klipsch R-100SW for front wish is better one is better Klipsch Reference R-620F or Klipsch Reference R-51M and have for surround sound I have 4 Bose that’s are not the best but is what I got.
