For all the folks looking for the information. (I have a 2018 vw polo) : if you want to change sound system, just changing speakers won't cut it as the main radio don't have enough power and the sound will not improve much (in my case at least with J794 radio). But when you add this amp and correctly set the gain, oh man this is night and day. So for truly PNP system you need to buy the amp, the Y harness for wv and also the extension cord. If you don't want to buy the last item, you gotta solder some wires but be aware at least in polo there is no space behind the radio so you need to root cables either to the glovebox or to the passenger feet area like in the video. So I had to extend cables myself as I didn't bought extension câbles myself. Hopefully all this info will help someone. Cheers :)

Please tell me if I can use these speakers to replace the regular speakers in my skoda karok? I have concerns because of the impedance of these speakers 2 Ω, and the regular ones, as I understand it, 4 Ω, will my media system burn out? By the way, tweeters on 4 Ω, I'm confused.

Hello from Australia! I am thinking about upgrading my t-roc system with Match DSP 5.2 Amplifier, Focal ISVW165 component speakers and spare tyre subwoofer. I am trying to decide if upgrading rear door speakers is really worth it or not. What do you think about this proposed system?

Hi, I have Dynaudio in my (new to me) Mk7 GTD. I fitted focal amp, focal Evo components and co-axials and sub on my Jeep - which sounds brilliant, and leaves me disappointed in the dynaudio. Could I swap in these units for the front and rear, retaining the dynaudio sub (a bit loose but plenty of power and neat installation in spare wheel) - without changing the amplification (dynaudio digital amp)

My question for the golfR/gti community is. What good is upgrading the speakers without a amplification upgrade? Yea focal makes awesome speakers and in terms of plug and play with the mk7 platform this is basically about as good as its going to get. But what really are these going to do if the amplification is stock. With bmws theirs company's that do full on direct swap plug and play factory replacement audio "bavaudio" is one company you can replace everything down to the factory Amp.

VW makes it a Mission to change out speakers! Soo annoying!!!
