These snap together because they ARE legos. I bought this very detailed plane with a Mosquito & a Messesmit 262 jet to boot. Thought there's those out there like me that need to learn about exotic lego kits to share with their kids. Coby made all of mine/thanx.

I remember building the hassagawa 132 scale FW 190 d9 back in the 90s. I had to rescribe all of the wing panel lines since they combined the older A version with raised panels and New parts for the fuselage for the D model. I use the engine from a Revell D9 and scratch built many of the parts visible through the wheel wells including the wheel well detail. I also created stencils to paint the crosses and all of the markings. I did chevrons which the masks were difficult to line up for the White and the black. All the markings were painted on. It came out really good. I made some model kits too back in the '90s. Including two spitfire conversion kits for the hassagawa mark 5B. One was for the PR MK XIX recon bird and the other was for the mark XIV. I also produced cast resin wheels and tires for the late model Focke Wulf and spitfire struts in metal. I also did the Masters for the 1/32 scale mark IX Spitty that was produced in the 90s. Those were really great things in 1/32 scale modeling in the 90s before China came on scene.

I fly giant scale scratch built R/C WWII fighters and before building a new aircraft I always buy a scale plastic model kit of it and enjoy building it on a couple of rainy days. They are getting so expensive now though and since I lost my job after the company I worked for shut down, I just can't afford them when struggling to make bills! Plus I have an old muscle car that I will never be done building and it is more important to me right now! I just subscribed! I enjoyed watching you make incredible scale detail, some people don't realize how much better a little bit of scale detail makes their R/C planes look too. It doesn't have to look perfect either, airplanes get dirty, oily, and greasy in combat conditions, it's what we call "stand off scale" if it isn't "exact scale" or "museum scale" and those aren't normally flown.
