Great video and thank you for the tip of taking a picture of the hand before the bracketing. Never thought of that, but really useful.

Certainly not a bad idea but normally looking at the time the photos were taken makes it pretty easy to spot a focus bracketing sequence as well.

Good tips. I have never used the auto mode but will give it a try. Really like those mushrooms shots.

I've been asking for focus bracketing in an X-T20 firmware update since 2017 when I got the body. Just waiting for the X-T5 at this point. Will be nice to finally use focus bracketing.

Fuji needs to start processing bracketing in-camera. Focus, exposure and timelapses too while I have your attention!

@@fujiguys I think as well that the final shot should be created in camera. I think the processor is fast enough to do it.

Hi, I don't think it is possible in Capture One just like it isn't possible in Lightroom, that's why we used Photoshop or Helicon Focus. Thank you for the comment !

Suppose one can say that another strength of focus stacking is that it allows you to avoid using very high f-number, thus staying away from sharpness degration caused by diffraction blur.

my gfx100s is tripping,.. i select A and select B, press shutter and only shoots B. doesn't stack. so weird. anyone can help? i had the gfx100 and it worked. my S is not stacking.

Interesting video, but it seems as though this is a difficult and tedious process. The Fujifilm XF10 does 4K focus stacking in camera. In fact, your colleague Gord did a video describing this function.

... an X-T4. ;) But it is something that Fujifilm could add to the X-T3 via firmware since both the X-T3 and the X-T4 share the same imaging engine.
