Thank you Focus for highlighting Pastor Kevin’s book. It’s a must read. Simply said and yet so profound and impactful. We are to take thought captive to the obedience of Christ and we are to TRUST HIM for His ways are so much higher than ours. Why I try to control others is absolutely ridiculous and a huge waste of time. It’s a big enough job trying to control myself.🤪 I need His help every day.

I have teenagers and as a dad I know the responsibility I have for sharing faith at home. They’ve started coming to church again with my wife and I. My youngest came on his own about a month or so ago. My eldest just started coming two Sundays ago. I would appreciate advice about this weekend coming up. They are coming on Sunday to church which is great. My wife and I are going to service on Friday as well. I want to invite them but I don’t want to push them as I did in the past. I feel like it’s a pressure to ask for Friday.
