Very informative video. Currently promoting Gliricidia in Kenya . It is fast growing and has multiple uses.

It's a great tree for fodder. What other uses are you suggesting.

@@ShambaniFarm apart from highly nutritious Fodder, it is also good for 1. Soil improvement including nitrogen fixation through roots and decomposing leaves 2. Leaves can be crushed in water and used as an organic pesticide and as liquid fertilizer, 3. Roots can be crushed with starch and fermented and used as a rodenticide(Gliricidia in Latin means rat killer) 4. Their flowers are good for bees in apiculture 5. Produces a lot of wood for fuel while regenerating fast after coppicing. Therefore it is a quick alternative for fuel wood without destroying indigenous trees for firewood.

Indeed. I love it. But I think Leucaena is even faster and it branches more vigorously and goats love it!
