I suggest we ask Dog for his learned opinion. Growing up I received my fair share of ass-whupping....wasn't my favorite times spent with my mother, who applied a hefty belt to my ass (and, anyplace else it happened to land) However, in many ways, looking back on it, I was her 'favorite', was the eldest of five and recieved much less 'attention' then did either of my younger brothers.

Foghorn made me laugh as a kid, he still makes me laugh 50 years later. This comedy is priceless, especially the part when Foghorn paints the dog's tongue green.

@gtons60 Yup....just exactly as the script writers wrote it! (I'm now 83 and still get a chuckle of this!) and, rarely a week goes by that I don't rewatch it. However, in a nod to fairness, we need to sit down with dawg and get his opinion on this matter....and start a fund raiser for some ass padding!

I mean, it's lonely being tied up permanently while living your life in a 2' X 3' doghouse. You can always tell by his bark...in Dawg language, he's thankful for the attention, while at the same time, barking for Foghorn to please NOT quit and lay much more attention on his well beaten rump! So sayeth the Lard!

I would climb their fence and tease the dog because it was tied to a doghouse. One day I made it so mad that it somehow pulled the doghouse loose and started dragging it after me! 🤣😂

I find when enemies fight, one enemy always wins and the other always loses. What I like about Foghorn and the Dog is that it is kind of a balance. Sometimes Foghorn wins and sometimes the Dog wins.

They took all this of TV because they considered it too violent. I remember years ago I was watching Wile E Coyoteee and he ran off a cliff as usual and right before he hit the ground, dranatic pause, they censored it out.
