I wanted to show you how to do a foillyage/balayage retouch! Sometimes it is hard to know which areas to focus on and you can end up doing everything all over again! So for this technique, I prioritize adding brightness around the hairline and darker areas! Plus I show you my signature SOFT money piece face frame placement AND color melting and toning technique!!
Formulas
1. joico lightener Wella developer 20 vol
2. 30 volume
Color melt
Root melt/root shade - shades eq 7n
Gloss- 10vv for a pearly blonde finish!

Love the result, the time taken to explain and the simplicity. The dried bleach on the drape made me a little crazy when you were styling. But other than that, super great video.

What would you say she lifted to? Pale level 9? I’ve had hair turn lavender especially around the hairline with the Vv, I’m thinking if more yellow that’s ok but anything lifted almost white will grab the violet pigment. Also how long did you leave toner on? Thank you 😊

Hey Liz! That’s correct i lifted to 9! It is definitely super cool toned! Which I really like! But it doesn’t actually turn violet in my experience! But yeah I leave it on maybe 10 min and the the root color go the full processing time! If you are worried you can always cut it with clear or 10n! ☺️
