@@Erick-hr5mv Not every world class player starts off in their teens like Ronaldo or Messi. Do I think he'll be world class? Probably not. But there's nothing wrong with saying potentially because I'm sure many top level strikers have had people scoff at the idea of them being that good before they actually get there. Vardy isn't Haaland, but I'm sure everyone laughed at how good he could be before he found his form with Leicester by working out his alcohol problems.

He can strike and cross with both feet. That's nice. Meanwhile, you can find tape of Jesus Ferreira intentionally dribbling into a second defender because the first defender gives him space to use to his left, and Ferreira just won't take it because he hates his left foot that much. 😑

Why is Arsenal so eager to sell him then? The Brazilian league is better than the French League. Sure The saudi league is probably better. Strikers can do well in the bundesliga, french and dutch league but the premier league is a tough league

I’m here from SouthGate’s comments and from peoples hype over this kid, and while i do agree this kid looks fantastic, what was he doing in the very first clip?? And if this is a highlight video for him why even put that in there ? Not the most flattering start to a highlight video, that also being said tho, the kid looks to have a bright future and if SouthGate wants to be petty because “he hasn’t proven himself” he should go play for 🇺🇸 and the USA fan base would have a great young player with great potential to look forward too(unlike Pepi who looks to have gotta lost in the system).

I think it’s CF, but he plays out left too. Wont really matter, he’d be up top for USA. By far the weakest position, so many wingers. His hold up play seems good as well

He will make Pulisic better. Pulisic can take up a central position or play one-twos with Balogun when he drifts left.

I get the hype, but I still don’t 100% love him in the box. He sometimes seems like a guy who would thrive in a 2-striker setup. He’s a bit light, and sometimes looks more like a wide forward than a single-high #9. Still, he more than holds his own as a holdup player. And that holdup play is why Sargent and Dike get so much run out. I don’t see a reason why he’s couldn’t fit with our group. I’m just not sold that in ‘26 or ‘30 that he’ll still be outplaying the other guys in our pool.

Mate if he ends up choosing USA just consider yourselves really lucky. He's still in for a spot in England's squad which actually has a chance at international trophies. And don't compare him to Pepi or Sargent or whatever. Nothing to do with them.

Is this a joke. This man is literally competing with KYLIAN MBAPPE for the Ligue 1 top scorer… Balogun’s 17 to Mbappe’s 19. Put any current USMNT player in Balogun’s position and I guarantee they will be nowhere near competing with Mbappe

@@nico8kane241 più che altro il Lipsia ha una sorta di diritto di prelazione praticamente con i giocatori del Salisburgo. Quindi l'ultima parola spetta a loro. Comunque se anche tirassero fuori 80 mln riusciresti a prendere un buon attaccante + riserva di Theo, di Calabria, riscattare Vranckx e riscattare Diaz. Conta anche qualche cessione di seconda fascia tipo Rebic, Origi, Messias e Gabbia. Riesci a fare un buon mercato anche senza cedere per forza Leao (speriamo rinnovi).

USA have had players who developed in the country leave us before. We lost Ochoa and Araujo to Mexico despite them developing in MLS. Subotic played for our youth teams before switching to Serbia. Plus, even Europeans take from other countries. Spain took Marcos Senna and Diego Costa from Brazil, and Italy took Jorginho from Brazil and Camronesi from Argentina. It's not black and white.

@@megamonster1234 To add onto this, the beauty of USA... it is literally a melting pot. Several different backgrounds, cultures, all coming together. Are we perfect? No, but just how our young core is getting along (Dutch, English, Mexican, just to name a few) is a beautiful thing to watch.
