If they actually watched him they wouldn’t. He’s a mid level player, he’s not Arsenal’s level. Really shows how many people know what they’re watching when you see the clamour for this guy to play for Arsenal

Arteta has a lot of explaining to do in regards to Balogun lack of opportunities with Arsenal. Nketiah has this attitude of extreme confidence with below average all round game.

It’s a bit harsh. Bali gun is quite young, we didn’t really know he was of this level until he had completed his loan which obviously benefitted a lot. A lot like Saliba. It’s a shame about the contract length though, I’d love to be able to see what he could do for Arsenal this season since we are light in the strikers department

I see a lot of Arsenal fans calling for Nketiah to be sold and him given a chance and even though he had a really great season, he played in the same league where Lacazette got 27 goals this season.

What a stupid statement. Hazard came from that league, so did Drogba, Bernardo Silva, Bruno G, Fabinho, Gabriel Magalhaes and many more. As for Lacazette he had 100 goal involments in 200 games for Arsenal. And scored double figures in the league in every season, bare the last one. In those seasons he averaged a goal or assist every 116 min for us in the league, and that in a role where he had to do Aubas dirty work. Only cause his last season wasn't good, people forget that he was a good player for us.

Great link up and finishing, need to polish in term of final passing and crossing, talent wise his ceiling was unlimit and need to picking right club for his development (AS Monaco) instead elite club, which might be struggle to get first eleven based on weekly basis.

Arteta would never go down as a great Arsenal manager with the sort of decisions he makes over players. Going by how "close" Arsenal came last season, one would have expected him to only reinforce some positions in the team which did not have dependable subs when fatigue set in on the main players towards the end of last season. No avoidable major changes to the team. Just imagine Granit Xhaka leaves and Arteta is toying with the idea of selling Partey. Those were the two gritty defensive midfielders in the club. Now he's set to let Balogun go without as much as a few chances to prove himself after the loan spell. The bench is part of the team. Aside from Saka and Martinelli coming in from the wings and scoring goals, one wonders if Arsenal really has enough strikers. Surely, Jesus and Nketiah cannot possibly carry the team all the way..

Well nketiah is 3 yrs older and on 100k a week , besides Trossard rotates with Jesus which means nketiah is too expensive as a third choice
