It is very challenging task to present this type of mechanism. I try to explain folding stairs mechanism as per my method ,hope you like it.

Nice presentation thank you so much, i use it as model to create one for my store, i got some complications with mesurments and numbers of steps if you can add a pdf plan with mesurement it will be perfect! Good continuation :)

Measurements are differents, the tread, rise and wide depends of the space. There's videos to calculate this.

the piece that goes to the side of the wall is supported with it, the one on the opposite side with its own material and up on the ceiling as seen it is supported on the floor of the apartment
